I've been looking for an iPhone 6 plus 128 Gray for AT&T since the day of the release, but with no luck so today I decided to go to Apple store and wait in line. I got there and there was an Asian family (mother, father and two boys around 20 years old) they all had the iPhone 6 plus in their hands and they were still in line. The Apple employee came out and took one of the boys in and he came out with two iPhones 6+, the other one was taken in and that one too came with two iPhone 6+, they took the phones to the car and came back in line to get more, the father and the mother each got two of the iPhone 6 and they came again and stood in line. As my turn came the employee told me they were out of the iPhone 6+:mad:

Why isn't Apple limiting one phone per person?

I would've Jacked the kids

Finally decided to just go wait at the local apple store today. Got there about 7:30 and was first in line by a few minutes. Picked up one of the few 6+ SG 128 since they were out of 64. I heard someone a few people down ask about them and they were all out of SG for AT&T so I was one of the lucky ones.

They should be scanning ID's and limiting it to 2 per person a month during a launch period like this or when stock is extremely low... I don't know why apple lets the scalpers do what they do

Exactly! That would help those who really want the iPhone

The guy I was talking too in front of me in line at Spectrum today told me that on launch day they got 100 6+ in and they were gone with the first 53 people in line, and i bet at least 15-25 of those people in line have been back multiple times since.

The guy in front of us in line was on the phone the whole time this morning trying to sell his surplus phones that he's bought, one of his customers even came and my gf followed and filmed them after they left to do their transaction to show apple if he got a 6+ and we didn't, too bad they didn't get any att 6+ in today

Blame the people who pay extra...

Lmao film?

Is selling a phone illegal??

You want a phone, then wake up early to beat him to the line instead of complaining on macrumors and filming other people's transactions smh

Actually, what the scalpers are doing is likely illegal as they are making profits on the sale of the devices that I'm quite certain they're not reporting as part of their income taxes. The act of scalping itself isn't the crime, but the tax evasion is.

Just ordered 64GB Plus in Silver for pick up in NYC. Gonna give it a go for a week. My gut tells me I'll be going back to my 6 eventually.

And I'm pretty sure filming someone without their consent is illegal as well

I am seriously going to LOOSE MY MIND ! just restocked at 4 differnt local locations and I was not able to lock ANY of them. I went through with all 4 and it gave me an error at check out.
This is ridiculous........

I got to the Apple Store about half an hour before the store was scheduled to open and got my phone! They were already open when I got there, and there was only one person ahead of me in line. I chose space grey over silver at the last minute, which ended up being good because the 64GB SG 6 was in stock. I'm posting from it now. It's so pretty!

Good luck to everyone who is still trying! And thanks to everyone who helped out with trackers and tips on this thread. You're all awesome.

as long as the filming isn't for commercial or public distribution on public property its completely legal
