walkin iphone 6 plus

They open at 10am so I'm going to try 8am on Monday i guess.

I canceled my original order that had a 3-4 week wait time but my eligibility hasn't reset. I've contacted AT&T and Apple. AT&T said it takes 24 hours to reset, Apple said 72.

I've been seeing posts about people waiting a week and still no change. Anyone have a way to speed this up? There's iPhone's available at my Apple Store but can't get one because of this problem with my upgrade resetting.

I know that Apple stores do not receive shipments on Sundays, but would this mean that they do not hold a few of Saturday's inventory for Sunday ?
I am asking because I would like to line up early around 7am at a local store, but I don't want to waste my time if there is no chance of this.

Thanks

What i read somewhere is that any stock they receive in the afternoons on Saturdays become the Sunday stock. I'm not going to bother going to my apple store till Monday morning, don't see a reason in camping out for what will likely be nothing because it is a Sunday

Wouldn't Monday's be the worst day to camp, because they don't receive shipments on Sunday and most UPS deliveries will not come before 10AM on Monday.

Here is one of the many things the Apple Employees have told me.

"no shipments on Sunday, so waiting inline Monday morning, without purchasing the night before is a waste of time."

"Saturday's later delivery is not opened (in Columbus) until Sunday morning for Sunday Stock"

Interesting... I was reluctant to sit in line "again", but seeing that all Apple stores around me open at 10:00 am on weekdays. I might have to try again tomorrow as work starts at 9 weekdays

Last Sunday morning 2 stores in Austin had 6plus stock for personal pickup at 930am. Here's to hoping stores closer to home have some as I plan on lining up tomorrow morning at local apple store.

2year to next

Catching up on last nights conversation, is it true that you can't order AT&T Next for in-store pickup? And if so, can you order for 2-year and then convert to Next when you go to the store?

I'm doing this tomorrow and can confirm. Apparently the experience has varied by other users from the Apple store expected it and went ahead and helped out to they gave them a lot of trouble and grief. But I haven't read about anyone yet that was denied the ability to switch at the store.

I can confirm my experience tomorrow.

How long have you been waiting? Just FYI, I have a phone reserved at apple and they said they have no issues holding them up to 7 days. Might want to pay full price to hold it, and then wait out your eligibility then go to store and convert.

This seems like a hastle. I'm sure it "could" be done, but the trouble and headache of trying this, is not worth it in my opinion.
I hope that it works for anyone that try's though.

It is a hassle. You're right, very frustrating but really just want to take my wife's 5 to AT&T and get 200 bucks for it before the 30th vs dealing with CL, ebay or gazelle.

will the stores update their stock for in store pickup tonight, on istocknow, or will nothing be happening tonight and I can get some sleep for once lol

My assumption is, if Apple receives evening shipments on Saturdays for Sunday's stock, than I would assume that they would indeed update their site over night.
Can anyone with knowledge chime in on this ?

I had this problem today:
I had a preorder on my line with AT&T but the upgrade eligibility was on my wife's line. So we did a Cross Upgrade. I was able to reserve a 128gb iP6+ Space Grey last night at 220am est for full price on my wife's line.

So I cancelled my preorder through Att via 611 once I received my order is ready email from Apple. After many phone calls to att and apple and speaking to reps at Apple Store and att store to get my eligibility back to not have to pay full price.

The problem was that because I did a "Cross Upgrade" preorder and cancelled it. We had to put a new SIM card in my old phone to cancel out the "pending" order at ATT store.

If you did not do a cross upgrade. You can call ATT and they can give it back to you right then and there. Just have them speak to a supervisor. Hope this helps.

Visited my local Apple Store this morning after wasting an hour hitting several Target stores that all said they had stock, but without a mobile employee they had no way to sell a 6+. Was at the store 30 minutes after opening, stood in line behind a few people and got the last gold 6+, which is what I wanted.

So for anyone looking online at Apple Store inventory, they don't show stock held for walk-ins. It's worth going to a store to see if they have stock.

^^ I'm doing something similar to this, I'm going to preorder if one becomes available on the other line on the account and then when I get to apple, swap sims and call/Go by ATT to have the old sim/phone reactivated as its currently out of the country

This isn't true. I was able to reserve 2 iPhone 6+ 64GB Sunday morning of Launch weekend at 3:52am. Checked since 9pm the saturday night before.

So did I get lucky or what? I managed to get a 6+ in white/silver last Saturday morning at 1:30AM. I didn't know people were searching still, I stayed off the forums. Is the 6+ still hard to get?
