I've heard this before but during the week they supposedly get shipments in the mornings and that is what they base their walk-in stock for the day or maybe it is just my local apple store that gets the daily shipment in by 9 a.m. for walk-ins?
This is true, sat morning when I camped they received a shipment around 9:30
Its not clear if anything you enter is 'binding', is this akin to giving bogus information to a survey or giving details for a contract? no form of digital signture is requested or "I agree" to terms button
Yeah - for some reason there has been no influx of 6 pluses. The store manager was surprised and thought I would have one by now. Hoping for Monday.
I am also planning on going tomorrow morning. It makes sense that they would not receive a shipment on Sunday but I am hoping they receive one early enough on Monday for the stock to be available for walk-ins. If they do get a shipment Monday I could not imagine they would hold it all day with no stock store for Tuesday opening.
I actually did that exactly to get my iPhone 6+. I put my real name and address, but put all 1s for driver license and social. Ordered it to pick up, and asked the lady at the store to cancel the order so that I could buy it full price. It took some time to figure out how to do that (she had to call Apple customer's service to cancel my original order), but at the end she did it and I got my Verizon iPhone 6+ at full price (which I am using now with TMobile)
Found ATT 6Plus Gold at Lehigh Valley PA store - online store stock is inaccurate

I have been searching all the eastern PA and NJ stores for the past week at various times - and it's always the same - unavailable. I called the Lehigh Valley store yesterday ( it is my closest store and is still over an hour away) and the salesperson insisted I use the online availability to check for their store stock. She wouldn't answer my questions about in-store walk-ins and was very unhelpful.
I decided on a whim to get up early and drive there today (Sunday) because I could at least learn how this store was handling walk-ins to see if I should pursue it further. I literally had zero expectation of success.
Got there at 9:10am - no line. One guy sitting in his car in the lot.
More people showed up at 9:45 and the two of us decided to start a line, or we would get bumped back....we had been sitting talking on a bench.
The two security guards said okay to line up - and so I was second in line. At 10am there were about 10 people in line. The Apple employees came out and they only had 2 6+ models, both ATT gold 128 GB. So, my new line friend and I decided to take the larger models (we had wanted 64 GB) and that was the end of the plus size. Then we waited for the store to open at 11am and we finally got our new phones.
He was upgrading a line, and I bought mine full price and just put my Go Phone SIM card in and it worked immediately.
They had a TON of regular 6 models - by 11 am there were over 40 people in line waiting for a 6.
BTW, I also overheard the Apple line staffer telling someone that ALL the current phones are locked and tied to a carrier. He was either a great liar or woefully ignorant.

What models are you tracking? I don't see any 6+ in that area or mine (Sacramento).
So are the stock updates I'm seeing on sea turtle and the iStock now map from cancelled reservations? I have no idea how the stores are receiving new stock?

Walnut creek showed available and I was there this morning and they said they had no att plus. Weird
Yeah...it actually stayed available for 5-10m...I would have gotten that if I wanted to do AT&T next...but I just want to pay full retail which you can't do online.
Yeah, this ended up not working for me either. I was hoping they would switch me to the Next plan when I picked up the phone in the store.. but when I did that the Apple employee said my phone would go back to inventory and sold to someone else as soon as I returned it. On top of that, my upgrade eligibility had to be reset which they said would take 24-48 hours.
Luckily, they were able to hold the phone for me while I get everything sorted with AT&T. Right now i'm going back and forth between Apple and AT&T trying to get my upgrade eligibility back. Meanwhile the phone is waiting for me at the store and there's nothing I can do about it.. I can't get a clear answer as to who can reset my account eligibility!
I'm giving up on online tracking. I'm signed up to get istocknow emails, but otherwise I'm not staying up late to try with Apple anymore. I'll line up at the store again this coming Saturday (can't go during the week). I'll just keep doing that until I get one. Don't see the point in ordering online from Apple unless the ship time drops a level.

I know it is usually when ever Fed Ex shoes up, but I am in Columbus Ohio, and have meetings on and off all day and can show up at the apple store a lot of the time, but does anyone have any idea what time the delivery occurs and how long does it take to show up to order or be available for us idiots who show up and lurk outside a store?

should of been online at like 330am today, Columbus had several 6+ in stock online. I noticed it because Im looking for another in Michigan.
got up at 305 and waited for 10 min, then went back to bed.
Looks like I missed it.
