Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

So, if you buy a verizon on a new contract and cancel the contract, its actually about $50 less than buying a 128GB 6+ full price (I'm not eligible for an upgrade).

Will see tomorrow though, if I can just pay full price tomorrow I will do that instead of dealing with canceling the contract.

Wasn't there problems with the Att lte bands?
 
Same here, finally got a 128GB SG. Verizon model for use on T-Mobile, store pickup tomorrow in Murray, UT. Hope I can just pay full price and walk out.
 
Got impatient and bought an iPhone 6 at my local Target, I really love it so far but I'm still going to get the Plus! I'll give the 6 minus to my mum since her 4S is starting to show its age once I get my plus. :p

top model is AT&T, bottom is Verizon. The verizon has all the bands that the AT&T model has. so even if verizon itself doesnt support the bands on their network, the device should be able to handle it.

That said, I am a little nervious about it until I have it working on my account. I called Apple and they confirmed it would work, the AT&T guys said there was the band issue but they didn't sound as confident.
 
just wanna say idevicechecker.com is awesome, got my iphone 6 128gb from the only target who had it in stock, had to drive a bit but thankfully the guy held it for me. No more waiting in front of the apple store.
 
My Apple store has a 128 GB gray plus for Verizon but I don't need all that space, either 16 or 64 GB for me.

Getting closer though!

OK. I just did the same. Let's see if it works out for me.
I know for sure you can cancel the contract and buy outright. So my only worry was the bands. Please post if it works before I open it. Thanks

So you can use a Verizon iPhone on ATT????? How? Please tell me quick because there is a model available in my town.
 
I always camp out at the apple store to secure a phone on launch day. This year was the end of an era.

After a week of heartbreak, 3 hours in line three mornings in a row, and sleepless nights refreshing apple.com.... I finally secured a 6 plus! I was looking for a silver 64, but settled for a 128 gold as that was all they had! My carrier is AT&T

Every night this week at around 11:30 pm PST, I would check availability using apple.com personal pick up. Every time I check there would only be iPhone 6 available in 16gb.

Today I decided to check at 11:27 pm, and to my surprise they had 128 gold available for AT&T!!! I was able to order 2 for to upgrade my family plan!!


I wish you all luck in finding your phones!! This forum helped me tremendously.. all of your tips and tricks worked!
 
I finally got my hands on a 6 Plus at the Apple store.

Question: I'm going to return the 6 that I bought about 10 days ago to Best Buy. I have Verizon so the phone was subsidized. If I return the phone to Best Buy in the morning, do you think Verizon will reflect my account as being eligible for an upgrade by that evening? Is it something that updates immediately?

I paid full price for the 6+ but I'm hoping I can have it adjusted to the subsidized price.
 
Hope everyone is having luck tonight. I checked the Apple Store app inventory screen and 5 stores within 150 miles have 6 Plus 128GB silvers for Verizon. I bought mine on contract and really wanted to return and buy a new one full price but I'm going to leave it as is and let those who don't have one of these get them. I'm gonna call my Apple Store tomorrow and see if they'll let me return and rebuy the same phone. Doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Honestly.. Who knows. I canceled my pre-order a last week. And usually it reflects in 5 min. But this time Att said that I can only use one reversal update per year and that if I want the plus I have to wait till December and do it at the Att store because there is an error in my account and they can't take it off. He said it happens once every 10000 reversals or something.. I think it's B S
But I got a Verizon phone so if they continue with this nonsense I'm just going to Verizon
 
do all the stores update their online inventory?

I checked last night for the in-store pickup option at my local Apple store. 'No stock' was listed, but when I went there this morning to make a return, the rep said they actually had the model I wanted..? (if I had gotten there earlier)...which totally contradicted the online stock indicator.

Any thoughts?

Naw to Tmobile. looking for AT&T. Just confused about what the Apple store rep told me and the info that I see online. I kinda want to think it's inaccurate for my local store and run there in the morning, but don't want to waste time :/

in store reservation help

I am a business customer so the rep told me I am not able to reserve online for in store pickup. Anyone have any tips for how I might get around the verification process to reserve an iPhone, then get in store and change details? I am at a loss :( I see the model I want, but there is virtually no chance it remains available until store opening tomorrow.

I am with ATT.. it asks for my phone number, zip code, and last 4 of acct number
 
I've been hunting for ten days, and after useless phone calls and waiting in line and doing what everyone else has been doing... FINALLY got a ATT gold 6+ yesterday in Manhattan Beach CA! I honestly didn't think too much of istocknow but after all of the east coast inventory surplus, I'd figure it wouldn't hurt to try. Got three alerts and boom Apple Store app got me the ^}^*}*{^ phone right before we leave on vacation! To those who are still skeptical, trust me. Just make sure you use istocknow for alerts, get your Apple Store info ready! I personally didn't have any luck with all the retail stores so in my opinion, definitely use that alert thing and try for pickup at an Apple Store! It's legit, THANKS TO THE GUYS WHO DEVELOPED!
 
My store has a plus for AT&T 64 GB gold which is what I am looking for...get all the way to the payment screen and it says unavailable arrrggghhh

I have this same issue. I returned my 16 gb cause it wasn't enough space, reversal worked fine, so I placed an online order but it was 3-4 weeks out so I thought I'd wait. Then I saw the notification sites and cancelled my order so I could pick up in store. This time it didn't reset instantly. After going to at&t, calling and having a 3 way call with apple and at&t, at&t finally looked into enough where you can't have 2 reversals in a year or your account errors. At&t had to submit a ticket to their tech team to manually override it. This was on Sunday and they said the system gives them a date of completion and the tech team will have it resolved by wed Oct 1st. Hopefully this works.
