Guys, I know this has been said before, but set up an alert on istocknow.com for the model(s) you want and keep an eye on your email. I got an alert during the day, immediately went to the online Apple store, and was able to get a 128 gb gold T-Mobile for pickup. Most of the stock alerts do come between 2 and 4 a.m., though, so if you are desperate you could try setting your alarm...

Correct, it's a nightmare trying to do that, at least it was for me yesterday. I get there and the guys says...'sure we can switch you to next', so he proceeds to go through with the transaction of activating the 6+ that I had reserved with the 2yr discount. He then says let me take you over to someone that knows how to convert this to Next. The new Apple guy is frustrated because the first Apple guy had activated the phone, if he had not activated it we could have done the conversion with that phone. So the new guy has to go check to see if they have another 6+ 128GB/silver, which they miraculously do. So we return the first 6+ and that is done, we then proceed to purchase the 2nd 6+ on ATT next. Well ATT flags my account as they have to do a credit approval. They essentially did this so they can ensure that's it's actually me. So the Apple guy has to call ATT and go through a series of questions and then I have to go through a series of questions. The questions are so ridiculous...the first one was I had to know what my mortgage payment was, he gives me 4 multiple choice options, all right around what I "think" my mortgage payment is. For example, they asked if it fell into a range of $2200-$2250, or $2250-$2300, I wasn't sure, I knew it was right around $2250, so I had to guess. So there are 2 more questions like that...well after all that ATT finally says I am approved, so we proceed with the purchase on Next and the Apple guy finally gets to the screen where we can select the plans available and guess what the Next plan isn't there. So we both start laughing, I felt bad and told him not to worry about it, that I would just do it another day.

So as long as they don't activate the phone first, they can switch it to Next? I'm desperate right now because I've seen my model pop up a few times but there's not much I can do aside from visiting the store and hoping to get lucky that they have one in stock. Did you ever get it to work or are you still waiting to get a phone?

Nope, have had iStocknow set up since last Wednesday without a SINGLE alert for Space Grey ATT 6+ (64/128). Even activated another email for it to alert.

iDevicechecker popped up 1 at a local Target, but it was a preorder. Missouri area, and keeping the faith!

Never got it to work. I would try it again but tell the guy not to activate it.

Apparently I want a phone that doesn't exist.

I asked previously and no one has responded. How are you getting the mapped view? I do not see the option on the website.

How can I remove an alert for a zip code that I entered on istocknow.com

I was in the area for the weekend and I no longer need the alert for that area. I have got some emails about stock and they are only teasing me because I'm no longer there.

Me too that's why I asked the question. I really don't know why we are penalized for choosing next.

This morning I went to 2 apple stores. Both sold out if pluses too quick. I have a reservation for 2 regular 64 silver att. But the crazy thing is the same scalpers are at these stores everyday. The second store I went to the line and the same scalpers are coming out of the store and with no line and phones left buying more over and over.

After I found out my reservation was for only regular 6 one of the scalpers said to let him know if I did not want them. I told him nope I would rather hold on to the reservation than help you.

Switching a phone bought under contract to Next is going to be more hassle than it's worth.

I finally got through and did personal pickup yesterday for a silver 16gb iPhone 6+, but as soon as I got home I wasn't happy with the storage remaining after setting it up even though I bought the 6+ as a secondary phone. I already own a 64gb iPhone 6 as my main phone.

I saw that there was a whole bunch of stock of silver and gold available last night for personal pickup, but since I already signed up for a second line with the 16gb model I wasn't able to do another personal pickup to return and switch to a bigger size.

I tried my luck and woke up at 5 only to see that the apple stores still have stock so I immediately went out to get in line. I was number 3. The two in front of me both bought 2 gold 128gb 6+. I told the apple employee I was exchanging my silver iPhone. I tried my luck and asked for space gray and they had only one 6+ in 128gb. I wanted 64gb, but I settled for the 128gb.

Now I am happy and have more than enough space to add my iTunes hd movies.

Also both times I got a phone the last two days was thanks to the help of iStockNow.

When did you get to the store? They come out before 10 am to tell you what they have?

I got to my local Apple store at 9:15 AM today and was the seventh person in line. They came out at 9:30 to go through the line to see what people wanted, and informed us about their supply. Unfortunately, no phone for me :/ they only had the 64 GB in SG in stock for the 6. Zero stock for the 6+ in Sacramento, CA.

Tomorrow is another dayy

Wow so I guess the best bet is to go on the morning they send notifications at 1-2am. I'd assume if they're getting overnight supply for in store pickup, they would include additional units for walkins?

Alas, that was my hope :/ but I was disappointed. The rep did say they had extra units the previous day, but it wasn't enough for them to update the online inventory.

I did exactly this and the next day which is today. Was able to find a 128gb, I wanted a 64gb but i am happy with the 128gb as well.

Thank you istocknow!!!! :D

Verizon Full Price is Factory Unlocked

Was able to get a SG 6 128GB TMobile and SG 6+ 128GB Verizon today walking in to the First Colony Mall at 10am in Sugar Land. I asked if buying the Verizon phone outright would make it unlocked. And the manager sternly told me no, all phones are carrier locked, even the TMobile one

I activated it in the store with my ATT sim just to make sure and it worked! Then, I promptly canceled my 2 apple.com order with late October ship dates.

I wish more people knew about buying the carrier phones off-contract. I think it would help a lot of people waiting for their phones.

I set up several alerts in iStockNow but no mail yet. Did them about two days ago... What's worse is that I'm not even looking for a Plus, just a regular 6.

Ideally it would be a 6 SG 64GB but given the current situation I'm even open to 128GB or to Silver color.

For the Houston area (Highland Village, Houston Galleria, or Memorial Apple Stores).

I'm in sac and go everyday for a 64gb t mobile and they never have it. iPhone 6.

For the last 3 days I've been getting alerts and going to the website and getting a time out for a 64GB 6+ in silver. So today, I randomly went to the istocknow website, saw that 1 of the stores had the 128GB in stock and to my shocked the order went through. I really wanted the 64GB, but I will find a way to use all 128GB, plus I now dont have to wait for 3 weeks.

Yeah, Target and Best Buy both have awful inventory systems, even just for checking inventory on their own sites. I'd guess you wouldn't be able to make any quality guarantees about their data.

Just stalked my Apple Store online and raced there when I saw some available. Exchanged my 6 for a gold 128 GB 6 plus

Don't give up folks. It was looking grim for me (zero stock all this time) but bam. Today the heavens opened up for me.
