Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

I was able to find stores on Long Island with supplies available but my iphone will be here Tuesday so I'll just have to wait. I don't want two unlocked phones charged to my card lol

That's good to hear. I haven't been able to get anybody on the phone at my favorite local store since they don't open for another hour.

You can't order online and do store pick-up via Apple under the NEXT program I believe. If you use the contract option and want to switch to NEXT, you'd have to bring the phone to AT&T and have them switch it from contract to NEXT.

Nope. Stores can do it and will have reps from each carrier in stores. That's what I'm being told by the store I'm picking up at. Guy didn't hesitate when I asked the question, so I'm sure there won't be an issue.

And how would you do this since your charged the upgrade price and fee when reserving the phone? Would Apple or Att refund your card back?

I thought the reduced price was $649 for a 64GB. I just did early upgradd.
 
Ordered for store pick at 6:51AM... still haven't gotten the email saying its ready to be pickup up...
 
Morning stock

I just picked one up here in San Diego. Woke up at 3am and checked online. They had an ATT 64GB Plus and i took it. I hope everyone has the same luck as i.:)
 
haha a little bit, but I have to work for a couple hours this afternoon and if i don't receive the email by then... I was thinking about driving over there....

Those who are trying to buy with the upgrade and then switch to Next once you get into the Apple store, PLEASE report back here on how this goes for you all. This is what kept me from ordering one this AM as I am going to use Next with Mobile Share plan now. Many thanks.
 
Oh boy, I wish they'd let you reserve an AT&T phone at full retail with none of the phone number shenanigans.

I may try my luck at the store, if it's crazy I'll buy some crappy mall food and call it a day :)
 
I still can't buy a Verizon or ATT version even though it's in stock for full price online. All TMO not avail. Can I order online for Edge on VZ for an unlock version and when I get to the store tell them I want to pay full price?

Please let us know how this works out for you guys if you do it. I almost tried this myself as I could have ordered what I wanted for pickup this AM, but decided not to in the end.

Otherwise I am just gonna get my order in for delivery the end of October I guess.

Do it under Next, pay 1 monthly payment and then pay the entire phone off. That's my plan.
 
I am about to head out myself to North Point Apple Store. After speaking with both AT&T and Apple reps, there is in fact alot of folks ordering online under upgrade then flipping to AT&T Next. Just got the triple green light (plus the notification that my pick-up was ready for iphone 6 Plus 128gb Silver). Seems like a pretty common process by the way it was explained to me.
