Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

Hmm it does say this online. Wonder what my luck would be if I rolled up to my Apple store when it opens trying to get a 64gb Plus for T-Mobile?



"Apple Stores have limited iPhone quantities available for walk-in customers."
 
Looks like Apple has sent a large shipment to all the Boston stores today. Most of the stores are showing availability for Plus in all the colors for AT&T.

Sorry, it may have been Verizon's site where I saw this option.

It's possible that you have to go in.

Honestly, if your local store has stock. I'd get in the car and hop in line (if not start a line). I don't think the general public is privy to the fact that stores will continue to get stock.

I guarantee 80% of people assume they are sold out, back ordered, etc. and that it's not even worth trying to "track" one down.

Apple customers aren't the "general public" though. They tend to be fairly educated on matters like this (at least if you're in a large city). I bet my stores in Dallas already have pretty long lines in front right now at 7:42am haha
 
Very tempted to return my 6 today to AT&T and reserve a plus. Does my upgrade go back automatically?

Apparently if you have a Unlimited data plan you can not buy directly from apple. You must go through Verizon...

This is crazy

this is what a online chat specialist told me.
 
so phones became available for pickup, but there were never any reservations or a link that popped up similar to how they did it in Canada?

available for pickup would've done me no good anyway, can't order a full retail VZW phone that way.
 
Saw my nearest Apple store had 6+ in stock!!! Cancelled my online order, waited for my cancellation confirmation email, ordered with pick up at store and on my way to pick it up now!! lol yea buddy
 
Waiting for my notification that it's ready for pickup...hopefully it's sometime this morning as I'm booked all afternoon.

I never did store pickup before...how long does it normally take to become "ready" for pickup?

Should be ready right when they open...or shortly thereafter.
 
FYI- just got off the phone with the store I purchase from. They can cancel the order and flip to the Next program.
 
I have a At&t premier business account and I can't complete the reservation because my account type isn't "supported"!!! They have the exact phone i'm looking for also

Placed 3 6+ orders this AM @ 5...just received all 3 pickup ready email:D Couldn't be easier!
 
Can you set it up for pickup for a 2 year plan and instead do ATT Next when you get there?

AT&T is able to do it, not Apple. That is what I want to do as well but it seems like such a hassle. I've read on this forum that a couple of people have done this but it took over an hour. Also don't open the phone, leave it sealed and carry it to the carrier.

They can't do ATT Next in the Apple Store?

Since they don't have any available to reserve...I doubt they will have any available for walk-in. Don't you have one coming Monday/Tuesday? I would just wait a day or two and get some sleep.
