Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

They were really cool and patient. The person helping me was new so he had to get quite a bit of help from his manager, but they were awesome about it. Also, there were AT&T reps in store, so they were able to confer with them as well. Good luck!

I did. Ordered on apple.com using 2 year contract. They returned my purchase at the store, then repurchased the same unit using next. Took a while to get the through the whole process, but they were really nice about it.
Thank you guys!! I will be checking again tonight. I almost pulled the trigger last night but I was afraid I couldn't do NEXT once I made the pickup. My hubby is purchasing the phone for me as my birthday present but he's using his credit card.
Just spent three hours at Costco waiting on a shipment for pluses that never came!! I'm hoping I can pick one up tomorrow if I can find one tonight !!

Yes, as stated before it is a process they have to do where they return the device then repurchase it using NEXT. However some apple reps will tell you something completely different like no more SIM cards or next person will be able to buy it. Thankfully the guy I got was really cool (and had an awesome beard) and took the process step by step with no hassle. And yes att reps were there to help confer over any questions.

Where are you going to find this info? When I check for availability in San Antonio/Austin stores shows none? Not sure if I'm looking in the right place.
i cycled through 4 color/size options and clicked pick up in store at the bottom. scrolled through to see who had it, if nobody, changed the size from 64 to 128. if nothing, switched from silver to space grey. repeated that process and some far away stores got some availability and by the time i cycled through again they were no longer available. then one of the close stores got silver in 128 available and was able to lock it in. i got kinda lucky cuz it was sold out 5 mins before i searched and sold out again 5 mins after i ordered it for in store pick up.

When did you get yours and at which store? Tried to order early this morning to pickup at La Cantera but by the time I got to checkout changed to not available for pick up!

They're saying 3-4 weeks for delivery on the Apple website here in northern NJ. Might as well just wait for my 10/21 pre-order through Verizon.
One last question for those of you who were able to change to NEXT with their in store pickup.
My contract isn't up until 12/2014 which means I have to pay 649.00 if I purchase now. If I purchase that way can I have it converted to NEXT? Then I assume they would just credit my card back, correct?

Just got three plus models for Tmobile from the Dallas Knox Henderson store... They sold out and went unavailable within 5 minutes lol

Are you not reading what topic is being discussed? You can order from Apple for in store pickup when the store inventory populates
I ended up picking mine up when the store opened. Got a ballistic case from best buy which I like and a zagg glass protector which looks horrible due to the curve.

I was number five in line, told to sit on the bench and wait due to my leg, then when to eleven when the people directing changed out. Took about 35 mins to get served but only 5 to get the phone.
Are the Apple stores allowed to resell phones that have been returned? Based on a lot of the recent threads, seems like a lot of people are returning their 6 plus for the 6.
