Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

Has anyone else used this process to reserve their iPhone in the morning and not receive pick-up notification that same day??? I reserved my verizon 64gb gold + Saturday morning around 8am and I still have yet to receive a pick-up notification. I went into Apple today and spoke with 2 people but noone had a definite answer other than processing/out of stock. I have seen the phone come in and out of stock in my area at other stores...not sure whether to cancel this existing order and grab it at another store
Yes, it happen to me too. Ordered two at two separate store and only got one email. Check with the store and they said its out of stock and tell me just to wait for email.
I wish apple would be more straightforward with us. If I was able to reserve and pay when they had "stock" then I don't understand how that phone isn't there. Kinda sucks! The majority seem to be receiving the fulfilment notifications within hour of reservation. I guess I will wait it out until tomorrow morning but it will have been 3 days at that point. Not sure what the best move will be since I would assume other stores will be refreshing stock tonight and throughout the early morning
Edit: My order details online say processing: available today (even though I order Sep 20th) in case anyone else was in the same boat. Go figure. Hopefully hear something soon
You can do Edge at the Apple Store, but you can't do the Edge upgrade at Apple.
Funny that my AT&T contract has already been extended for two more years from the reservation but I am still waiting for ready to pick up email.
Purchased a iPhone 6 plus Grey 128GB from Apple this morning for my personal AT&T . 230AM CST most the Apple Stores had all colors and sizes of the 6 Plus. Yesterday was more limited. I have work 6 Plus for VZW on pre order.
I would think yes. Perhaps some reservations that people didn't show up will get released back to stock?

I checked the site a little after midnight cst and there was no change. Checked it again around 2am and a few were popping up here and there. By 2:30am cst they were all gone. I checked it again at 7am (was looking for the 64gb plus but only found the 128gb at 2am), and saw the 128gb available at a location that showed unavailable when I checked at 2am and in two colors. This was for Verizon at the Chicago area Apple stores.
Well I slept in today and have the day off tomorrow, so I will be pushing right on through from now until about 3:00am EDT. I will report any success or failure. Looking for that ever popular 64gb space grey 6+ (verizon)

Would anyone know how long it takes a Verizon upgrade to once again become available after cancelling? I have a pre-order in with Verizon for a 6+ 64GB SP, however I am considering cancelling it and go after one that becomes available in a Southern CA store.
Any idea how long it takes for the upgrade to show available again?

A lot of people say it happens instantly, I'm not 100% sure though.
Also, I have an order through VZW.com currently for the exact same model and my Verizon account still says I have the upgrade available, so it's letting me get to the checkout on the Apple store with my Verizon preorder still processing. I'm just waiting at the checkout for my local Apple Store to have stock available.

I was in Chicago at the line friday for more than 4 hours, I made my reservation, and was close to get it, but I needed to leave the line to go to work. Now I'm here waiting the midnight and updating the search bottom for pick up. And I don't think it will be available.

For those in the NYC area, I was able to get in an order for the AT&T 6+ at the SoHo Apple Store.
