Cancelled my Premier preorder online last night around 11:00 PM. Went through immediately and I got my eligibility back. Refreshed from 11:45 until around 1:15, no stock showed up in Portland/Seattle. I cancelled a 64GB 6 Plus Space Grey AT&T, and that's what I'm searching for.

There were some in Emeryville, CA for about 10 minutes and then they disappeared. A little too far for me to drive, though. Hehe.
 
This thread rocks, and thanks for posting all the info I needed to score a space gray 64 gig 6+ for at Fashion Valley in San Diego. This phone is incredible.

At which carrier? I've been trying to get the same model at FV for the last few days as well, but I haven't seen any T-mobile yet.

On the Apple site when you try to place an order you must select a new data plan without unlimited being offered. VZW's site says you can buy the phone full price and keep the unlimited data. I went back and forth on the phone with both companies to try to get a preorder through apple.com at full price with no luck. They're only doing VZW phones subsidized.

If I get a chance to reserve a phone I will probably try out reserving and canceling at the store and see what happens.

yea, what he said lol, might head back since my version is still in stock for pickup and see if the line is any shorter
 
I want to thank the people on this thread. It had never occurred to me to cancel my preorder until I read this thread, and Thanks to you I have been enjoying my new phone since yesterday.

I haven't read all the posts, but this was not my experience. On the Apple site I was able to say that I wanted to replace an existing phone, and my unlimited data plan automatically showed up.

At a big mall Apple Store here in northern NJ, there were over 100 people in line this morning at 8:00 AM for an 11:00 AM opening. And this is on a Sunday! Don't they know there is football on?? :)

An Apple Store rep suggested looking at Apple.com at 5:00 AM. If a local store is scheduled to get inventory that day the availability should be visible online and you can (maybe) get it ordered/reserved for pickup the next day.
 
After trying this two nights in a row without success, I just walked into an AT&T store an hour ago. 20 minutes later I walked out with a brand new 128gb space grey 6. I prefer to give my business directly to Apple, but my local store and the online store both failed me this year.

I saw inventory come online at around 11:30pm PST last night (Los Angeles area) and bought my Plus 128mb Gold. It was sold out again about 25 minutes later. Went to the store this morning- got directed to the "Reservations" line indoors (me and one other guy) while 100+ people waited in the general admission line outside the mall.

yeah, the 6 is ample at both carrier and apple generally, while most people are left empty handed for 6+ at carrier stores and most apple stores.

Generally, as long as you don't include T-Mobile. Haven't seen one pretty much anywhere, in any color or size.
 
Suddenly Verizon 64GB 6+ Space Gray is available at Providence, RI Apple Store. That's the closest one available near me, which is 3 hours/187 miles away :mad:
 
Verizon SG 64 6+ available at two different stores two hours away but the store 5 miles down the road is out :(
 
Grrr, my indecisiveness got me today. I was up from 11:30pm till 2am last night refreshing hoping to get a gold plus. Woke up this morning refreshed again for about half hour then saw they had stock in the gold 64. Made a mistake putting in the visual code and then the gold was gone a minute later.

Spent a few more mins refreshing and stock for the silver plus starting showing, but I kept waiting for the gold. Nothing.

Tried again for a while today and realized I really want the silver more, I could of maybe got one this morning, grrr! Why is it so hard to decide, lol

I'm at the point where any color plus would be great now as I've already sold my other phone.

Am I missing something? I never see any sort of apple-store status other than "unavailable for pickup", even for those stores people have just mentioned as having those models in stock...

Yeah, I honestly don't know what color I want. I have a Gold 5S right now, but I think I want to go back to a black front on the 6+, but it seems like the 6+ Space Gray is the hardest to find.
