I was able to snag a AT&T 128gb 6 Plus at a local store. I placed the order by add a new line to my existing account. I was such in a rush to get the order through I never even glanced at the price of the phone it was showing during the checkout process but it shows it at $399 in the confirmation e-mail I received. Was this a glitch in their system or what because I thought the 128gb are going for $499? I plan on returning my 64gb and exchanging it for the 128gb this should be a easy process correct?

Nobody knows how it works but I am pretty sure that you will get yours before end of September. You may just have to do what we are doing every night. Demand will die out and people will be less enthusiastic as time passes by.

im having a hard time with this reserve and pick up.

am i going to the BUY NOW option on the apple site? or is it a separate link?

also, my store says they are available for pick up. however i want to buy it without NEXT or upgrade. i just want to walk in and pay the $750 without affecting my upgrade, which isnt available til may 2015 anyway.

is there a way i can reserve and pick up for ATT this way?

i spoke to someone who did exactly what im trying to do however he lives in canada and i think it must be different up there.

I was able to go to the apple store today about 3pm and get a reservation for a device only att 64g space grey 6 (no contract pay full price). They put it in their system so it is reserved for you, but the wait at the time I went was 3-5 hours to actually get in and pay for it. They will either send you a text or give you a card confirming your reservation. You have to pick it up the same day. I came back to the store at 8pm and waited in line for 1 1/2 hours and was then able to purchase.

You are not able to order a device only online, but my store did show availability online of the model I wanted under a contract purchase.

Yeah, thanks for the confidence I really hope you're right. I mean we still have over a week of September and if I keep doing this every night for a week I should at least be able to find one model of a phone.
