Yeah. I was able to find 2 (one around midnight monday and one around 3 am tuesday) but got error during final checkout both times.
Yes the last two mornings my local apple store has opened up and began selling 6+'s to people in line before they even make it online to pickup in store option.
My order went through too...
But its still processing. Its been about 6 hours, I assume if the status doesn't change by the end of the day, it didn't get through?
I've called everyday for 3 days at various times to my local apple store. Each time music plays and no one ever answers. Twice the music has stopped after the prompt to speak with an associate and then I get disconnected. Guess they are too busy to answer the phone.
I'm in tulsa and checking the tracker there are several 6plus models for AT&T and Verizon in Dow area and Omaha. Unfortunately both are farther than I can drive today since they will be closed before I can make it there.
The NYC stores just updated their stock. There's a 16 GB silver plus in the 5th Ave store, but that's it. They have every variety of 6, too.
anybody has information when is the texas apple stores updating their stocks !!?? i have been waiting for 3 days and no changes i want the iphone 6+ 64 GB space grey t-mobile !! Tried to preorder couldnt stayed in the line 1st day they were sold out !! i dont want it to be shipped !!

I want someone who is following texas houston stores to tell me when these stores are being updated !! Cause im fed up of refreshing and founding nothing !! HELP !!
The answer is the same regardless of region - the inventory updates when a shipment comes in. Apple is on real time inventory now. There is no magical set time for updates.
I have heard everything from it updates every night between 11-12am PST to it updates live inventory anytime they get more than 5. I really don't think there's a set time or anytiing. Just keep checking I guess like some of us are doing or sit back, relax and wait for it to be shipped!
According to my records, the Apple Stores I'm tracking (near Alpharetta, GA) updated stock at 02:27AM EST today. Stock was available until 02:58AM EST (it cought me asleep, so bummer).
Then stock updated again at 04:15AM EST, with stock showing up until 04:33AM EST, this time I caught the alarm however I wasn't able to grab any units.
And most recently, at 11:16AM EST, stock updated again, which lasted until 11:31AM EST. However, again, I wasn't able to successfully reserve one.
In all cases, I would get all the way up to the check out screen at which point it would fail, and immediately stock would show as unavailable.

Tuesday morning, they were updated around 3:45 AM in the Houston area and lasted until about 10 AM. Since these, most stores are out of the 64 GB Gray AT&T model that I am watching.
It varies around the country. I saw stock at 2:16pm, 7:16pm, and 2:30am where I live. Apple is updating as it comes in since times have changed daily.

I had the same issue today. Saw different versions of the TMobile 6+ 64GB available in NYC stores.. I tried several times to check out, but they would all fail at the checkout screen. So frustrating :/

They used to update at a set time. Not anymore. There is still a big update overnight, but as you can see this largely varies in time from one store/region to the next. That's why we've seen it vary from 2-4am over the past several days as well as seeing it update throughout the day. It definitely used to be that they'd all update at 10pm PDT or a similar set time, but that's not what's going on this year.
I am searching in the boston area for the elusive 6+ SG 64/128gb. I stayed up last night until 2AM est and no movement on inventory. The previous day there was one the came available at 2:30AM and then another at around 11:15AM. I am watching the tracker on seaturtle and monitoring what boxes turn green and around what time. It really appears to be live inventory when checked in now, instead of 12-3AM like it used to be. My apple store is being super co-operative in telling me call anytime you like morning, afternoon and night and they are letting me know status. I have 13 stores that I will drive to, and the closest I have come is going through checkout, putting in credit card and being cart jacked and getting the error message.
Anyone else totally hopeless about reserving one for pick up? I'm not sure what to do. I could keep playing the sleep deprivation game, I can drive 1 hour each way to try my luck at my closest store, or order it with the 3-4 week ship window. None of these seem like attractive options.
I have confidence, I will get on through the reservation or another retail store before 3-4 weeks. I have 13 stores around me for Apple, Best Buy told me 2 weeks this morning, and Staples told me next week. I think once the international launch goes this week, we should start to see more stock available, still won't be easy, but I am not giving up and ordering on a 3-4 week delay...yet.

I asked to speak with the manager and he said I could but it's $50 more. I gladly spent it. Store was in Princeton NJ if your interested. I believe they have 1 gold and 1 Space gray, I only bought 1.
