Q, a few ?'s why is the master list not showing retired members yet the top 50 has everything in tact. Should those members be reinstated in the master list.

It's just the way vBulletin works...the usergroup they're in isn't included in the Members List since they can't log in and post.

So retired actually means they can't post. It isn't just a title.

That's correct...their accounts have been deactivated. That's not to say they couldn't be brought back, but it would take some behind-the-scenes voodoo to make it happen.

Ooh, new stats :)

Nice to see I appear to be giving that Real Life thing a bit more attention, whilst not entirely disappearing off the board. Ta Q.

Hmm... I wonder if I can pump out 7,658 posts in the next 6 months and crack that list...

Well, make that 7,657 posts now... I'm on my way!!
The way the list is steaming er umm spamming ahead its gonna take more then that.

Hangs head in shame. Man, my posting has really gone up the last 6 months. I blame iBlue's boobs.

Eep!!

And I've been posting less this last month or so!!

I'm telling you, your creepy 'tar posts while you're sleeping pased out drunk.

Here are the tracks left by the Top 10 over the last 2.5 years and their 6-month projection.

The number of members in the Top 50 with a vowel as the first alphabetic of their username has grown from 8 to 10. They are Abstract, Applespider, edesignuk, Eidorian, emw, Eraserhead, EricNau, iBlue, iGary, and IJ Reilly.

Isn't "y" sometimes a vowel?! [pout]

How about a breakdown of "color" members? :)

The percentage of posts by non-Top-50 members has increased from 88.9% to 92.4%. In other words, the Top 50 contribution dropped from 11.1% to 7.6%. That's a significant change. I think the influx of new members interested in iPhones and other Apple products has given a little more oomph to the forums outside the chatter among the regulars. The top members still post a lot, but the others are posting more than ever.

Compare the new pie chart below with the chart from July 2007.
