Excel spreadsheet... copy calculated links to forum post, which I previewed, but didn't post... Command+click each link, opening each profile in a new tab... scroll through the tabs. Got milk to go with these? :D
How cool. That's just the kind of technique I approve of. :)

FYI, I found that there's another member who fits the "square" criteria. Clue: He owns this website!

Yes, I noticed arn as well, but I figured he didn't count, since you mentioned there was only one other. There are also 2 members who will meet the criteria before too long, as their post counts are nearing 2500.

I calculated pi to 2.7 triliion digits and all I got was this lousy T-shirt

Speaking of numbers, here's a cool news story:
A computer scientist claims to have computed the mathematical constant pi to nearly 2.7 trillion digits, some 123 billion more than the previous record.
The best part is the quote from the guy who did it:
"I am not especially interested in the digits of pi."
On the same topic, here's a question for you:
What are the odds that the 3 trillionth digit of pi is a zero?
Answer:
Either 0% or 100%. We don't know yet!

ah that explains it all. i wondered why my computer was going slow again! Q must be using the MR members computers to do some folding again!
Yeah, we should all sign up for Folding@otherpeopleshomes so we can do more number crunching. :)

ahh i see. active members only then i guess, sort of what i was after  thankyou

a few people are finally catching up to madjew! i miss him :(
MacNut is correct about retired members not appearing in the Members List. Retired members are those, like bousozoku, who have been given Guest status so they no longer have working accounts. This happens only in special cases, sometimes for reasons of privacy.

For most members, if they become "inactive" simply by not posting, they will remain in the Members List indefinitely.

Did your time at MR start before his ended? He hasn't posted in a few years. I'm more curious than anything else.

madjew stopped posting in September of 2008, so they would have seen him for about a year. I miss madjew too, I remember that madjew bot thread way back when, that was hilarious :p

made me laugh quite a lot. I miss Mad Jew also, I wasn't a poster when he was here, but I was lurking around the corners.
