Doctor Q,

Do you have any nifty stats to share regarding wireless posters? I tried posting this from my iPhone but I couldn't get the image attachment to work from my MM gallery into the forum, so I had to get my butt off the couch and walk back to the 'puter.

I remember seeing via the mobile site my own wireless post count, but I couldn't find it today.

Is there any way to show on the full site a users wireless post statistics broken apart from the regular post statistics?

No, I don't have a way to track mobile posters. I didn't even know you could get that display!

This is an all time list, many do not post so often anymore. There is a lot of history in there. But since you just joined yesterday, it is all history to you, right?! :p

On a side note, I was surprised to see my name tossed in the mix even with less than 5000 posts.

Bummer. :(

I remembered how to see my wireless stats, but for some reason it isn't working today - It worked just a few days ago. Just click on a username, but I cannot get mine working anymore.

I reset Safari's cache and cleared its history on the iPhone and switched from WiFi to cellular and back but I keep getting an error message. But if I click on another person's user name, their stats page comes up. Oh and I even logged out of MR and tried to view my profile, but got the same error.

Here's something I haven't done before. I took the intersection of the current Top 50 posters and the End-of-Time Top 50 posters. Here are the 24 users who have been posting often enough and for long enough to have among the 50 highest post counts to date, and who are still posting often enough to be among the 50 most active posters at present. Seven of them are site volunteers as well.

Alphabetically:
  1. -aggie-
  2. alphaod
  3. Applejuiced
  4. balamw
  5. Dagless
  6. Doctor Q
  7. DoFoT9
  8. dukebound85
  9. Eidorian
  10. GGJstudios
  11. Hellhammer
  12. iBlue
  13. iJohnHenry

Prime movers

My habit of giving a prime rib dinner to 100 friends and family members of every Top 50 member whose projected post count is a prime number is getting very expensive. Instead of one winner as in the past we have four prime winners:
bartelby with 19,759 posts -- prime!
iGary with 19,727 posts -- prime!
alphaod with 15,629 posts -- prime!
WildCowboy with 15,439 posts -- prime!

Note to winners: You must pick up your dinner in person in Los Angeles by midnight tonite.

Boy, how silly are you going to feel when one of these people actually *IS* in LA?!

Question:

Am I missing something, or did Dr. Q make a mistake?

For Dukebound85, his current rank is 33, his delta rank is -1, but his last rank was still 33. Last time I checked 33 = 33, so wouldn't the delta be 0?

Yup, my mistake (and not the first stat mistake I've made over the years ). Everyone #33 and below in Chart 1 has a Delta off by one. I think it's because I start with charts that include bots and banned members, then excise them and adjust the rankings. I'll figure it out and make the necessary corrections. Apologies to dukebound85 and everyone chasing him.
