It's good to see this is still around.

Yes, I remember reading my first one, when I was in the Caucasus in early 2009, and wondering just exactly who all of these people were, and marvelling at how many of them seemed to know one another.

Indeed, I recall being astounded at the sheer numbers of posts that some of them appeared to have accumulated - I could never imagine how one could make so many posts.

And, yet, for a variety of reasons, none them foreseen, years later, I find myself in that very same place. How very strange life is, sometimes.

edesignuk and iblue! I miss those kids. :(

Gosh, names - elevated names - from a past that I barely remember.

Now, I do recall iblue posting some years ago, and yes, I seem to recall edesignuk as well. But that is ages ago.

They're doing well. Many of the old school MR contributors regularly communicate via Twitter.

Assuming one can keep control of the feed, - and not be drowned in a tsunami of material - Twitter can be very useful, both personally and professionally.

I have to look for the edesignuk thread where he was begging to be a moderator, which they eventually made him one. Classic MR.

I follow almost 300 people on Twitter. I use lists to segregate them so I can stay on top of things and keep unrelated things separate. .

Lists on Twitter?

Now, why didn't I think of that?

Sounds like an excellent idea, one where thorough organisation can give rise to intelligent short cuts.
