How are you doing with iOS 26?
Haven't tried it yet, i have a developer account but as i saw on youtube it is pretty buggy right now...

But what i saw seems pretty nice, i hope the 16 series won't get performance issues with the new design elements, only time will tell.

Did you install it?

Where do you live in Chile? I live in Santiago, in the district of Las Condes.

I just got my new pro Max a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t had any serious issues, only a few occasions of minor lack of response. I’ve concluded that it’s the thinner bezels because when I’ve repositioned my hands so that my fingers aren’t overlapping and touching the screen in anyway it becomes instantly responsive again. Maybe that’s all it is?

I just tested several iPhones 16 Pro Max (1TB) with the batteries manufactured in January 2025 (iOS 18.3.1) There are no touch issues at all (tested both without and with a screen protector: Belkin UltraGlass2). The screen quality is very bad though and there is a shift in color from yellow to green if you tilt them. Disappointed.

It is good to know, however, that phones produced in 2025 don’t have any touch problems, it seems.
I’m experiencing the yellow tint on my 16 Pro Max. And when tilting it I can see different color shifts.

For those who are having this touch issue or a yellow tint to their screen, how did you go about getting a replacement? What did you say to Apple that made them give you a new screen?

I'm from EU so if you order anything from electronics via internet, you do have 14 days to return it back. But from 4 or 5 16pm I had back then, I chose the best one but still have some tint, just it is much less of a tint comparing to the others. And again when I went with my "good" unit and compare it to the best from the Apple Store nearby (they have badly tinted units too but one is without tints) then my is like 20% darker on max brightness and much more yellowish overall.

new iOS is crazy fluid and touch is better for me (but I did not have touch problems other then the top left corner back button)

I played around with several 17 Pro Max’s at the Apple Store and I see no difference in touch compared to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Unless my unit wasn’t affected.

After 1 week of 17 pro max, I can say, it seems same 16PM, I thinked that after 3 time to change, it has a problem with touch, but my wife says that it is same to 15pm.
I believe if you don’t touch perfect some button like arrow in the corner of wapp or the x in instagram, it can’t work.
