FYI .. I tried the Pear app on my Series 0 watch and didn't get a map like I do with the Series 2. I really believe the support person was just misinformed, and the Pear app uses the Series 2 GPS when running without the phone.

Anyone else with the Series 0 watch can download the Pear app and give it a try.

They were definitely misinformed. There was no way I could get a track of the picture I had without any sort of reference. I have no wifi around that track and had to walk a distance without phone connection to my watch. I would not think that the watch could cold that on INS alone...if it did, then the INS is better than my aircrafts so I'll go with it using the "triangulation" which will be renamed to the actual name after nike+ release
