This is disturbing no matter where you sit. Spying on members of Congress without just cause, would be a rather huge abuse of power.
If anyone should be spied on its them. Of both sides. The government shouldn’t be spying on the people. That’s the real abuse of power.

Still not as bad as when Obama spied on a presidential candidates campaign
Are you referring to the time Obama “spied” on a campaign that paid for Russian intelligence, met with Russians and Russian oligarchs, while Russia interferes with a US presidential election, then threatened Ukraine and cuddled up with Russia? Is that the “not as bad as when Obama” moment you inaccurately are remembering?

Oh no, I was talking about the pictures of Hunter smoking crack with hookers. What’s the tangible trump equivalent to that?

There isn’t any because you answered that yourself, Hunter was never president so no tangible equivalent. Thanks for playing.

Drug use is prevalent in every state, and especially so in Republican states. You are not making any sense.

Must consult with CNN brain lessor Master Brian Stelter, will report back shortly with findings and pass them off as my own with no self awareness. And verbatim.

also Adam schiff is a patriot! 4 years of gaslighting and getting accolades from the people that continue to be duped by his russiagate mental illness bull. He deserves a Medal of Honor
gaslighting is somehow more than fitting for the GOP and their followers

Clearly the conservative side of the equation favors an autocratic government. Their perception of Patrotism is absolute loyality to an individual as opposed to the proper perception, loyality to ones country. Their intentions were clearly defined and predicted from the beginning. No surprise here.
hmm. that sounds really familiar. i could swear it happened once before in history.

The ass incited an insurrection against the government of the United States. Why can't you people get that through your head? He should be exiled at best and sentenced to death for treason at worst.

If that is true, then why did Congress acquit him in impeachment?

Lol. Please. We’re not the ones who attempted to a coup.

Please. You honestly think that the the most gun-loving segment of the populace attempted to overthrow the government without using guns? They were just a bunch of idiots who turned mob that aimlessly rioted like all the other criminal "protesters" all year long. Coups imply organization and a hierarch of leadership.

The Senate acquitted...because the senate was controlled by GOP.

This sounds an awful lot like "it wasn't teargas at Lafayette square" when it was effectively teargas.

The lengths you go to defending what happened on 1/6 is sad.

Trump supporters were wanting hostages and to stop the certification of an election. People died. But go ahead and say "it wasn't really a coup"

Loyalty to Trump and the party is more important than loyalty to the country.

Except to the 7 Republican Senators who voted for impeachment

Seven GOP senators voted with Democrats — the most bipartisan impeachment vote in U.S. history — but well short of the 17 needed to convict the former president.

I mean, just look at all the terrible things Trump said of Ted Cruz and Cruz said of Trump. But now Ted Cruz is kissing Trump's behind every chance he gets. And Ted Cruz isn't the only one Trump trashed -- there was also Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham -- but they're all now buddies with Trump.

They were all afraid of voting to impeach -- no backbone -- because they didn't want what happened to Liz Cheney to happen to them.

Umm, hate to break it to you but "Conservatives" favor small government and less freedom damping regulations.
Hate to break it you but you are both describing the same thing using different words.

funny how so many love more rules, more taxes, more gov, more media opinions ...... We are here for a good time not for a long time.

Leaking is not a just cause? They investigated Trump without having any evidence of any crimes, multiple times, and every time it turned out to be false they quickly moved on to the next accusation without evidence.
