That said, as Trump supporters can find policies or actions from prior presidents that they agree with or have benefited from, I can say the same about Trump.

If we are talking raw numbers, I would expect Trump to have more Americans employed, as population grows year over year. • We have created more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs since my election. Manufacturing is a dying industry in the US. Seeing as job creation was less under Trump than Obama, not sure why we care if they were manufacturing or another profession. Manufacturing will soon be entirely automated, and preventing that in the long-term is not realistic.
• Manufacturing jobs growing at the fastest rate in more than THREE DECADES. See above.
• Economic growth last quarter hit 4.2 percent. Why are we comparing one quarterly statistic from 2018? If we're doing that, Obama had two quarters during presidency where economic growth was over 5%
• New unemployment claims recently hit a 49-year low. How are those doing now?

We can guarantee median household income will crash further in 2020 than it did after the 2008 recession. Insufficient testing? The US has done some of the most rigorous testing out of all countries world wide. The US has even gone above and beyond to test people who have no actually shown any symptoms, something that not a lot of other countries have done. This is also why the cases went up while deaths went down, i.e more tests on non symptomatic people = more confirmed cases. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised when you find out that the total death toll turns out to be over reported by somewhere in the ~30% region once the excess death data is compared (side note, where can I actually see current excess death figures, I've searched quite a bit but only found oddly formatted data which isn't very useful when comparing to current COVID figures, if you know of a source I appreciate it.). In the Republic of Ireland in Europe for example, it has already been calculated that their COVID death toll has been over reported by ~30%+ and cited was the reason I mentioned prior about deaths with COVID rather than from COVID. Well he isn't preventing other countries from spying. He is preventing one popular mobile app used to "spy" from being used in the US. He is not actively preventing their government from doing actual spying.

The NSA has been notorious for being granted an extraordinary amount of power. The abilities of the NSA coupled with the US black budget essentially equates to unfathomable possibilities. The possibilities of which congress or the president would ever even be able to comprehend, making it hard for anyone to even question their antics. Thankfully Snowden released a lot of information that showed what was happening. I genuinely hope something will be done about it, but I just see the NSA as being too "untouchable".

Most of his "achievements" were nothing different and often no better than what Obama or previous presidents did. Trump's "achievements" list seem to be very similar to what happens to the losing team at a child's soccer match; everyone gets a participation ribbon and calls it an achievement. You don't get an "achievement" for lowering unemployment or increasing GDP. That's your job as president, and the data shows us that many presidents have historically done the same thing (without obnoxiously bragging about it), often to a much better extent. Furthermore, many of those accomplishments you listed (non-clean energy initiatives, conservative appointed judges, the wall, creating unsustainable jobs that will be gone in a decade), I consider detrimental, not achievements. I'd think achievements would reflect objective improvements that improve life for all Americans and our future.

Similar to the 2008 recession that Obama had to endure and bring the country out of, no one is saying a different president could have fully prevented COVID. But a more competent leader that had intelligence from late 2019 confirming the virus existed, certainly could have acknowledged it and better prepared the country. In turn, many lives would have been saved, because we could have prepared better and changed to live the way we are living now back in February vs. June (some states still aren't). This would have meant the economic impact would have been less extreme, since full stop shutdowns could have been avoided. So while Trump didn't cause Covid, he's at least 90% responsible. There are many countries that have been able to resume a life that looks a lot more like pre-COVID life, than what we're facing, because they took aggressive, unified and early action. That's not the US.

I should have stopped debating you when you mentioned the flu and COVID in the same post. I now plan to stop replying to you because you've gone on to say that the mainstream media is all against Trump and his "achievements", and that goes to show we are living in very different Americas.

Actually, FB doesn’t sell data to the Chinese government so they can make fake IDs to ship to the US. Google which company exports the most fake IDs that enter the US.
