We've been in a holding pattern on mobile innovation for a few years now. Everything from the last 5 years is honed to perfection, but nothing truly "new" has come out to change the game board in a big way. It feels "the same"for a long time.. there's not much difference between an iPhone 6,6s, or 7 because the apps are mostly "done" for now.Utter domination in chip performance. Yet, Apple is not innovating.
Schiller must be banging his head on a wall.

Maybe they delay the next iPhone until the ELEVENTH anniversary of iPhone's announcement. Then Apple can "turn it to 11!" A11 processor, iOS 11, even bump MacOS up to 11!I secretly wished that A10 and iOS 10 made it onto the 10th anniversary iPhones - all 10's.
They can celebrate with a great big iPhone with huge speakers that takes lots of D-batteries! And a touch dial that goes to 11.
