tvOS 11.4.1 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvement

Have any UK members had any luck getting the BT iPhone App to airplay to the ATV 4K using this latest beta? Getting audio only here.

Edit - BT Sport app.

I can already tell you with 99% certainty that we still won't have stereo HomePod-ing. :p

I also made an update to the beta 1 and 2 posts.
 
Installing PB3 now. I’ll test Air Play/HomePod audio asap.

Oh I’m so thrilled to have good audio again.

Multi-room playback and you can now ask Siri to turn on Apple TV too

Have they fixed the issue of constantly asking for your iTunes password, that was present in the previous public beta?

Sounds like we might be getting close to stereo Valhalla.

I'll have to test Siri turning the Apple TV on, to see if it will also turn the TV via that HDMI setting whose acronym is escaping me at the moment.

Edit: I just saw the wikipost. Darn, I was hoping the HomePod would do it, not my phone.
 
Thought I was missing a few, TV has been signed out somehow. No option to get back in?

Have to look into this.

Edit. Had to sign out then sign back in for the option to appear.

Realise this is a bit late but running OK on the new beta here. Standard update on the phone, not beta, Beta on the TV.

Thanks. Upon investigating I realised that because my subscription is via my mobile contract (EE) for some reason I cannot airplay period. No idea why.

There is this under New Issues: "Options to Offload Unused Apps, Autodelete Old Conversations, and Review Large Attachments are no longer accessible on some devices."....

I have iPhone 5, iOS 11.4.1 -- and I seem to have this problem. The option for Review Large Attachments DOES NOT EXIST when I go into Settings/General/iPhone Storage. I have been searching all over the internet and not found a single thread/forum that addresses this issue (they all address how to free up storage using that feature -- they do not address when one DOESN'T HAVE that feature). Can someone please share the fix for this?
