I am about done waiting as well. When I place my preorder at the beginning of this month you were saying shipping mid October now we are hearing early November. What's next mid December? Too many other options to wait on a case that is 60 bucks. I know you can get the cheaper version but really this case only looks good if you get the bamboo or a design and that is 60 bucks.

Signed, tired of waiting.........

Thanks for the update and good luck with your schedule......I'm quite happy to wait a little longer. I'm sure the cases will be awesome when they finally ship.

Waiting a little longer is one thing but waiting as long as some of us have and then to communicate multiple times they are coming and very close only to follow it up with more delays is a whole other thing completely. You can say what you want about grove but at least their communicated ship date held up for the early preorders.

Thanks for the reply.

To clarify, I understand the challenge of a small operation, being an independent developer myself.
I understand things can take time, and often take longer than expected.

I just probably misinterpreted the 'very soon' comments over the weeks to mean 'a few days' rather than 'a few weeks'.
Had I understood that, I would have probably invested in a temporary case meanwhile, and came back and check on this a few weeks later.
Instead, I have been checking in here twice a day to check when I will finally be able to cover my phone with this case...

Anyway, I understand from this reply that things don't look great for this week, and that we still don't have a date. I am sure you'll be successful with these beautiful cases, but this will have to be without me, how do we get a refund on the preordering ticket?

You can email sales@twigcase.com with your order number/pre-order code, and I'll take care of it.

As far as the "very soon", I apologize if I led anyone on inadvertently- we truly thought we'd be live and shipping not only by now, but weeks ago. I won't go into the list of reasons, suffice it to say they are many and varied.

We're still shipping 4/4S cases, and I fully plan to go live and start shipping ship this week, assuming our part gets here.

Any clues yet about any other designs for the iP5 cases or will they be the same range as the 4s?

I've been looking forward to this case for about 6 weeks now since I preordered. The constant estimates that they will ship in October, next week, okay really next week, very soon, verrrrrry sooooooon, etc have been extremely frustrating. I see from other's comments that I am not the only one that has been checking the website 3 or 4 times a day to see if they are up yet.

I understand that stuff happens and Twig has little incentive to inform us of every setback, but I'm not sure how you can say that they will be shipping VERY SOON when you don't even have the drillbits you need. Like I said, I understand things break but if I was starting a business like this redundancy of critical components and tooling would be a very high priority. To hear that a natural disaster halfway across the country from your shop has you dead in the water is extremely frustrating for customers that have been patiently waiting for your product.

Things that would make this better in my mind:
- Allow preorders to actually select the case they want to order to that you can focus on fulfilling those orders first.
- Send an email when the site goes live to everybody that preordered so that we can stop checking the site constantly
- Free shipping for people that preordered with the expectation that these would ship in October. Also, $9 for shipping after paying $60 for a case seems a little steep. USPS flat rate boxes are $5.35 for anywhere in the country.

Obviously a lot of people like your cases. The designs are great and they appear to be very durable. When you actually start shipping these cases, do you want your customers to be telling all their friends how great it was to do business with you or that you go the extra mile to make things right?

Yes, I agree, a discount from TWIG on overseas priority shipping would be much appreciated for those of us that have pre-orders.
I was hoping to have a case when I travel overseas on Dec 12...but at $36 for priority shipping it's a bit expensive. Grove's shipping is only $10...but I still do prefer the TWIG product.

So it is now November, any chance these are going to start shipping this month some time?

Engraved bamboo shipping on Monday, everything will be available Wednesday, and shipping starts Thursday for that.

Thanks for hanging in there everyone. I really appreciate it. Trying to get all this together at the same time is like making breakfast. Eggs ready when the bacon is, oops burned the potatoes. Way harder than it looks. Sometimes you have to go to your special 'breakfast place' in order to get it done.

I'll be updating more often, now that I've managed to clone myself. With that, I'm going to go have a beer, as it's my birthday. I leave you with rumors of a new (non-iPhone) case from Twig.

Well it's closer I suppose but all I wanted is the plain bamboo and its the last available so that sucks. I would think it would be easier than the engraved but what do I know.

Have not received any shipping notice yet. Did you get an email or it indicated in your account info somewhere?

I got an email from Twig saying it had shipped yesterday afternoon. It is also noted on my account on the Twig website. The tracking on the email said it is estimated to be delivered on the 8th

For those that have shipped, and are engraved cases that were supposed to go out yesterday, what are your order numbers (approximately)? No shipping email for me yet but I only ordered several weeks into October.

My original preorder was done on October 9th with an order # around 1330. Then I ordered my engraved bamboo case almost as soon as the Facebook message went up (within a few mins).

Hmm. I'm around 150 after that with my original order number, and it took me a half a day to see that the final order process was open. Can't be too long, right?

Edit:

Right! Order fulfilled! Vines bamboo case shipped. At least, I have a notice that it's shipped, and no doubt USPS will update my expedited international shipping information very soon.

Thanks, TwigCase. Very much looking forward to ditching this temporary Tech21 Impact Case with Cover (white) and enjoying my Twigcase.

Ha - you're welcome. I should point out that there's going to be some jumping around with pre-orders, order numbers and such. For example: your Vines case has been ordered by only a few so far, so you got to 'jump ahead', in the interest in getting cases out ASAP.

There are a couple people near the end who ordered ones that nobody else did, so they lucked out.

A reminder that preorders end tomorrow, the sale prices on the 4/4S cases end tomorrow, plain bamboo, laser-engraved colors and plain colors (with a surprise!) will be available tomorrow, and we're shipping those starting Thursday. Whew.

Thanks everyone! We're rolling them out! :)

Just got my Twig case. It is a gorgeous case, they did a great job. It fits the phone snugly and I'll admit I am a little worried that sliding it on the phone may scuff the sides of my phone a little but it didn't seem to. It also adds a little weight but not much so I'm not worried about that. I hope to be able to put pics up soon

Well I place my order today for the plain bamboo as soon as it went up on the site. How long did it take for you guys to receive your shipment notification?
