This man and his ardent followers are an embarrassment.
"Ardent followers." Very diplomatic way of saying it. I'd go with overzealous lickspittles.

And all the lunatics that are closing their accounts because their feelings are getting hurt, and the fact that Musk is bringing truth bombs and fair balance to your upside down world, there are just as many of us that will migrate back to the platform and happily pay the $8. I mean the audacity of him allowing debate and forcing the lunatics to actually engage in conversations and have to actually have to back up their beliefs..... yeah, I can see why the heads are exploding.
And considering Elon's constant mentions about getting rid of fake accounts, I have to assume that will be the case.If it’s “pay $8, send us your phone number, verify your address, verify that you’re a human (twitter biggest issue as of now)” then issues might be resolved.
It is no better or worse than the people who defend celebrities endlessly."Ardent followers." Very diplomatic way of saying it. I'd go with overzealous lickspittles.
Elon is worth (supposedly) something north of 100 billion dollars. I don’t know if I buy the “Elon’s in real trouble now” stories that I’ve seen about him buying Twitter but IF they are true then paying a billion is cheaper than being seen as incompetent as a businessman. And I doubt that he would end up needing to pay that much by himself anyway. People that rich generally don’t put themselves as buyer, they just control the holding company that is the listed buyer. Doesn’t mean he loses nothing but it does reduce his liability. It’s because people think he’s paying $44B by his own money. Before even starting this thing after showing interest he had to gather several investors and banks, and they do not hand out billions without a plan and good contingencies.
$209 billion at last check was the estimateElon is worth (supposedly) something north of 100 billion dollars.
The $1B breakup fee was in case the purchase was stopped by a government regulatory agency or something of that nature; not because Musk got cold feet.I thought that there was an escape clause that he could cancel the buyout but it would cost him 1 billion dollars. If Twitter does go belly up he will lose more than that. But that’s still an “if” , not a “when”.
If he loses money he’s not going to lose nearly close to $44B.Elon is worth (supposedly) something north of 100 billion dollars. None of it good. Hitler did many things. I do not view him as a model for my life.Guys doing more in one week than the entire staff did in the last 5 years
Good, it shouldn't ever mean that.Paying for services like this does not guarantee your account will not get banned nor suspended
Didn’t know that. Thanks. The $1B breakup fee was in case the purchase was stopped by a government regulatory agency or something of that nature; not because Musk got cold feet.
Wtf.None of it good. Hitler did many things. I do not view him as a model for my life.
He may get many of his assets liquidated. It would be cool if Tesla and SpaceX were owned by a decent person. If he loses money he’s not going to lose nearly close to $44B.
I know. You never play business using your own money. If he loses money he’s not going to lose nearly close to $44B.
"Twitter will reportedly allow government accounts to stay verified, as well as those in regions where Twitter cannot charge payment."
Musk has no clue what the other hand is doing when he tells AOC to "pay up".
When you take out loans of other people's money and the company implodes, those people wind up owning your own companies.I know. You never play business using your own money.
Make the CEO of Lotus the owner of Tesla just to see the original Roadster produced again. He may get many of his assets liquidated. It would be cool if Tesla and SpaceX were owned by a decent person.
Well, they will care. They still have to explain why having people like me and you pay $8 to be verified is a bad idea. Honestly they sound like “Imma lose my special status!”
It's not like Lotus is not making their own two seat electric sports car. It' will have a 0 to 200 in half the time it takes to sneeze.Make the CEO of Lotus the owner of Tesla just to see the original Roadster produced again.
