Well he both misunderstands the app store and make stuff up, so your confusion is understandable.

The App Store apps will use full screen because of the sand box. That means that while using the app you can do nothing else at the same time.

For example, you can't watch EyeTV and Tweet simultaneously with Mac Store Apps. Sure you can switch between them and I understand that it has to be this way to lock the apps down, but I think it is a step backwards.

You do of course realize the sand box is a developer tool, there is no requirement for app store apps to run in any kind of locked down sandbox and full screen apps (while some will) is really a 10.7 feature...

Thanks guys!

Hello, I'm Arron. Cheif editor at RazorianFly.

Many of you will already likely know me from when I used the frequent these boards daily.
I'd just like to thank MacRumors and Arn for covering the story.

Can't wait for the store to open later today (GMT). :)

Hum, I hope it syncs with iOS version

Why are you humming?

Frankly, I was hoping Apple would make RSS, Twitter, and if we must Facebook… all tabs in Mail.

Sure it risks turning Mail into being everything to everyone like iTunes, but it would contain the 'social' stuff to a manageable window on the world, instead of an all attention consuming app, like tweetdeck, for example.

It would be nice if Mail became extensible and we could add the tabs we want.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't see 'social' consuming more of my total day than email did on its own before.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I'm still ticked at Loren and MacHeist. Many of us purchased last year's bundle because we were promised a free early beta upgrade to Tweetie for Mac 2. I understand there was the acquisition, but not one word of following through with the agreement. Now with the update going live tomorrow, it would seem we were swindled.

Oh yah, I forgot about this. Thanks for reminding me gibbz.
I new there where several reason's I didn't care much for Loren anymore.
Not expecting much out of this Twitter client.
The iPhone version is very feature lacking and has a frequent tendency to crash.

Just started tweeting resintly and already love tweetie cant wait for this update:)

I'm looking forward to normal Mac apps on the App Store, not this mobile stuff. It can be good on iPhone or iPad, but it's a bad idea on the Mac.

Will there be a free section of the Mac App Store like on the iOS devices and in iTunes? I was hoping there'd be a version of FAAD for the Mac App Store.

Also, is there any word of developers of iOS device games porting their games over to the Mac App Store with support for using the iPhone/ipod touch as a controller via bluetooth or such? That would be AWESOME.

I can imagine playing a racing game using my ipad as a steering wheel with speedo etc on it while my 27" imac is my windscreen to the world.
