Kinda of a shame, you did it at your own risk, though it did allow you to enjoy more out of your iPhone.
Let’s see, the lock screen in iOS 11 is broken half of the time. The control center is still quirky, the gigantic headers make no sense and need to disappear, the music app is trash, folders are glitchy, the widget center is laggy... shall I continue?
Understand it or not the argument is a philosophical one. Should you have the right to do as you choose with a device you've paid for?I'm not surprised at this point that jailbreaking is on the decline. I hardly hear anyone talk about it these days.
I've never understood the fascination with it anyway.
Thank those rebels.
Some of the jailbreaks are now in iOS.
Who knows if those tweaks/customization would have ever made it into iOS without JB Community.
Coincidentally, wasn't Apple once know as a rebel?
The jailbreak features were obvious, and Apple didn't take any inspiration from them. As usual, they added features slowly eitherThank those rebels.

Google Maps has gotten me lost twice due to incorrect directions, Apple maps zero times. Google has tried to take me down many one-way streets in Los Angeles, while Apple has not. Until recently, I used both about the same and, for a couple of weeks, I used both at the same time on East Coast (USA) for the comparison.Useless compaired to google or waze... if u wanna get lost or stuck in traffic, keep using it and drink the coolaide. Apple maps are the worst.
This is on iPhone 6S and SE, and I've seen the same things happen on 7. Saying that you aren't seeing them on a X is honestly dumb to say, because this is the latest from Apple, so all their attention went to it and no love and care was given to 7 and older. Honestly I think you've dismissed any issues you've seen, because I've seen iPhone 8 and X suffer from those very issues I listed. iPhone X is a mess on iOS 11. If there was a JB for it, I guarantee that developers would be all over it to fix all the annoyances, wasted space, unintuitive actions, etc. The JB community is all about making iOS better for the end user, it always has been. My biggest complaints with iOS 10 were solved with 4 tweaks. Tinybar to fix the obtrusive annoying banners. For anyone with a JB device, I heavily recommend it. Horseshoe to put all controls back on card one in the control center. Noctis for dark mode on the lockscreen, notification center, control center, banners, and dock. Lastly Eclipse for dark mode in apps. Eclipse, Noctis and Horseshoe worked together, so when you had Eclipse installed with Noctis, you had the option to enable and disable them at the same time. With Horseshoe installed, it would add the dark mode toggle into the control center. It all worked together, it worked 100% of the time and worked perfectly everytime. My experience on iOS 10.2 with the JB was wonderful.Have no idea what phone you are using but non of these is an issue for me on iPhone X. But I guess different people do have different expectations from their phone.
There was a time years ago when me too did JB my iPhone due to the lack of many features, to just reverse back to stock iOS months after when realising that with the goods comes the bad, having my phone slowed down, battery drain more then usual, crashes, bugs, what not.
Will never go down that road again. iOS does have almost all I need. Always ON display is something I like on my Galaxy S8 but there is no way in a world I would JB my iPhone X for that.

So what you are saying is that you would never like a dark mode ever? Ha ha very funny.Nah man, you see..... all these eye sore stuff you got on these photos may be cool for some but not for me. You should realise that not everyone uses the phone on the same way or need same things from the phone. What you may find it useful or pleasing to your eyes some others may not. I personally would never ever make my phone look like that.

I find it funny that you wouldn't want that of what I pictured. What I pictured was what the control center in iOS 10 should've looked like from the start, and basically exactly what you would get if Apple added a universal dark mode to iOS. I find it funny that you wouldn't want control over the device that you payed so much money for. What exactly do you find funny about it?

I would love for you to elaborate on what looks like a "14 year old's" work.Well, I find it funny that you find it funny other people don't like stuff that you do. I do have a control over the device I have. As much control as I personally would need. Why on earth is it so hard for you people to realise that some of us have different preferences/needs? All these tweaks you have showed to me that to you may look amazing, to me look like they have been done by a 14 year old kid. Face it, we do not like/need same things. Period.

No, it's not. Jailbreaking has been mostly pointless for quite some time now. The upsides of it are minuscule, and downsides are huge - major one being a massive security hole of keeping your personal data on what's basically is an insecure hacked device.
I used to jailbreak religiously since the original iPhone 2G.. But would not even consider jailbreaking now, even if JB was readily available.
Gotta agree with this guy, those screenshots are very unappealing to me.Nah man, you see..... all these eye sore stuff you got on these photos may be cool for some but not for me. If only Apple would allow for maps downloading and could tap into the vast (unrivaled) Google dataset on businesses & geographic infoSorry, I haven't had that experience whatsoever. It isn't kool-aid. Maps has also gotten a lot better with iOS 11. I've used it in many places, including a recent Vegas trip ... and it got me everywhere without getting lost ... and it also notified me of traffic and at one point found me a faster route around traffic. The lane guidance is also extremely helpful so that I know which lane to be in when I'm making a turn or coming off an exit ramp. I'm not exactly sure how you think Apple Maps is going to magically manifest traffic that wouldn't have otherwise been there if you used another maps app, but that's not how reality works. Apple Maps won't get you stuck in traffic. Traffic will get you stuck in traffic. I use Google Maps and it works just as well, but it's hardly a perfect navigation app either. There aren't any perfect maps apps and it's why I have several just in case one is not working to my liking. For instance, before I go on a trip, I download my entire trip in Google Maps just in case something happens where I'm not getting directions in Apple Maps due to a lack of cell signal in a particular area. Having said that, I've not actually experienced this yet in Apple Maps because it uses a much more storage efficient vector mapping system so it can actually download and cache a lot of the route so that it can continue working if cell signal cuts out.
The Apple Maps bashing no longer seems to be based on facts, but emotions. I drive a LOT and take many trips to visit family and friends, and Apple Maps has worked for me 99% of the time. For the 1% of the time it doesn't, I use alternatives. And if, god forbid, none of them work, I bust out my country map book and find my way.
Well, I find it funny that you find it funny other people don't like stuff that you do. I do have a control over the device I have. As much control as I personally would need. That makes no sense and you wasted my time as well as yours to literally refuse to answer the simple question. You simply can't argue that it's fine, because it's the same thing as stock, but the white and grey backgrounds are inverted to make a clean elegant solution for using your device in a dark place. It's literally like flipping the Smart Invert switch in display accommodations, but this mode actually does something efficient and doesn't bog down your phone by having to render everything you see on screen. With those tweaks, it changes a couple color codes and that's it. Also keep in mind that you can fine tune the colors and translucency to make it look better if it looks off.Yes. sure.
Everything about it.
Great idea, needs refining. Contrast with a couple things are off and makes them difficult to see. You can fix that with Flex, or wait for someone to fix it themselves, because that option actually exists. Overall, still better than the current mess that is Instagram 8-24.my old screenshot of my Instagram feed from iOS 8
Lol
Lol dude, you're saying that everyone has different preferences, so why are you grilling on Thunder's preference for Darkmode?
