You are limited by whatever your plan may be.Do you have limitations on hotspots in America ? In Ireland are networks don't limit anything on our iPhones I have unlimited 4g data and I can use it however I want it's only €20 per month too.
Ok that makes sense I thought that you meant it was separate to your phones data. You are limited by whatever your plan may be.
For instance, my plan is a T-Mobile, Simple Choice Unlimited Data plan that allows me 7GB of full-speed LTE data per line for the two lines that are UD. This is an ADDITIONAL thing to our already included unlimited data just for our iPhones.
My son, who has an iPhone 4s has 2GB of full-speed LTE data (although his iPhone 4s cannot do LTE). He may use that data any way he wishes between the phone and tethering.
Same thing with our two iPads. We have 5GB of data per tablet line and that data can be used any way we wish, either for the tablet or tethering to the tablet.
Once our allotment is reached speeds are throttled (no overages).
This is just MY plan. The later T-Mobile plans have unlimited tethering, but the TM1 plan reduces tethering speed to 3G.
I am on three ireland it's very cheap.Three in the UK are pretty generous with data. Unlimited 4G data (aka LTE for the colonial commoners) on the device itself, for an extra couple of pounds a month I get 32GB of tethering. At that price it's not worth the faff of trying a workaround.

It can't get much worse than Vodafone which I was on €20 top up gets 5gb of data and any network texts and removes €10 credit and if you go over 5gb of data it costs €1 per megabyte, besides my iPhone is unlocked so I can change network at anytime.Enjoy it while it lasts. Three were very cheap in the UK. £15 bought unlimited 4G and unlimited tethering. That went once Three grabbed as many customers as it could from the other networks and prices doubled. Retention deals were crap and most were not even offered one. I am now paying more than I did for much less.
So, thought I'd buy this. I don't usually go for decals on my Macs, but this is appropriate I think. Especially when the PowerBook I will put it on is used AT a coffee shop!
Not such a big deal to me. However, it's intended for MBPs and MBAs and this is a fairly common trade here in the US. Lots of different designs centering around the Apple logo on the back of Mac laptops. So I don't think it will be a problem. It looks awesome but I would but it only if I was sure it wouldn't damage the PowerBook surface.

Too bad they don't make it white with a cellophane rainbow decal for the apple itself that mimics the oldschool apple logo. I think that would be pretty sick looking
Heck even if it was *just* the apple - That would look pretty great when the apple lights up.
Have another cup.Should have take a picture of my iMac and coffee![]()

Well, there's this one…https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...kground-powerpc.1691115/page-11#post-20794203Erik, I remember way back you created a fantastic 4 or 5 monitor continuous coffee-related desktop.
...pouring into coffee cups or something like that.
Can you hunt that down and re-post into the desktop pics thread [by request]?
