OK just subbed to Fitness+ for the first time and by coincidence first workout was Justin - 10 mins. Can honestly say that was really very good and I just hope I can keep up the momentum to do this everyday. If I do that 10 mins it will radically change my fitness I'm sure.
The main negative was the smallness of the iPhone screen. Difficult to watch and do the exercise at the same time - was placing the phone on the floor, then a chair, then back on the floor. Had headphones tho and familiar exercises so coped. Costwise the all-in-one plan is not available here, which is pretty annoying as I'm barely using Music currently, but it's still worth 30c a day just for Fitness if it gets me fit. I may dump Music when renewal comes up next month if I can use Fitness music for walking.
I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with the yoga so just adapted to what I was able to do. For a complete beginner that might seem daunting or even off-putting but's not really a negative for me. Justin himself seemed great, most of these guys do though. Love the optimistic calm energetic vibe.
As for those saying just go to a gym, lol. 1) No WAY because of Covid 2) nothing resembling a class like that is available here. Here, there are personal trainers and maybe the odd yoga class once or twice a week, if not already full or cancelled, for 30 - 150 $ an hour.
Update few hours later: okaaay, have to admit I got triggered by the Wokier than thou Time to Walk, plus it cut out half way because watch not connected, plus it took quite a while to set up. Shame because walking is my number one fitness mode and the whole point of the watch is that you don't have to lug your phone around. Still have a month free trial, but the yoga better be darn good if I'm going to keep this after that. Plus I didn't appreciate the upsell attempt to Apple Music (therefore doubling the price) in the very first episode. That cheapens it, no wonder Apple are hiring more ad execs.
