Dustin and Jessica are my preferred yoga instructors on the platform, for sure. I’ve had good practices with Jonelle and Molly — and all of them can lead a good flow — but I like Dustin’s wide use of hip circles (all the creaks and cracks!) and Jessica’s friendly “style it out / see how you go”
Agreed. All four are excellent (Jonelle can really burn up your calories!) but Jessica and Dustin are on another level in my view.

I just wished Apple would buy Peloton. I prefer Peloton's instructors, but am debating on buying an official bike because of various reasons (though I have tried one and love it).
That's a good start. I can't even be bothered with a gym membership, let alone that sort of commitment to hardware and subscriptions (workplace includes membership. It's not great, but still gets the job done)! Ditto on the Apple side.. Apple Arcade is the one service in Apple One I'm most interested, but even that's been put on hold. If I were to do Fitness+, not only would I need to sub to A1 (IIRC, it's not available a la carte), I'd also need an Apple Watch, and by extension an iPhone (of which neither I have).

OK just subbed to Fitness+ for the first time and by coincidence first workout was Justin - 10 mins. Can honestly say that was really very good and I just hope I can keep up the momentum to do this everyday. If I do that 10 mins it will radically change my fitness I'm sure.

The main negative was the smallness of the iPhone screen. Difficult to watch and do the exercise at the same time - was placing the phone on the floor, then a chair, then back on the floor. Had headphones tho and familiar exercises so coped. Costwise the all-in-one plan is not available here, which is pretty annoying as I'm barely using Music currently, but it's still worth 30c a day just for Fitness if it gets me fit. I may dump Music when renewal comes up next month if I can use Fitness music for walking.

I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with the yoga so just adapted to what I was able to do. For a complete beginner that might seem daunting or even off-putting but's not really a negative for me. Justin himself seemed great, most of these guys do though. Love the optimistic calm energetic vibe.

As for those saying just go to a gym, lol. 1) No WAY because of Covid 2) nothing resembling a class like that is available here. Here, there are personal trainers and maybe the odd yoga class once or twice a week, if not already full or cancelled, for 30 - 150 $ an hour.

Update few hours later: okaaay, have to admit I got triggered by the Wokier than thou Time to Walk, plus it cut out half way because watch not connected, plus it took quite a while to set up. Shame because walking is my number one fitness mode and the whole point of the watch is that you don't have to lug your phone around. Still have a month free trial, but the yoga better be darn good if I'm going to keep this after that. Plus I didn't appreciate the upsell attempt to Apple Music (therefore doubling the price) in the very first episode. That cheapens it, no wonder Apple are hiring more ad execs.
I killed off the time to walk and use my own podcasts when I walk. It's not exactly intuitive on how to get rid of it but it's possible to do. The other thing you might consider is connecting it to a TV, there are a few options out there and that solves the small screen problem.

Got it included with my health plan too but plan to pay for it when the year expires. We use it 3-4 times per week - strength and rowing.

Especially great in the winter when the weather is bad. Or any time it’s raining.
Yep that's exactly what I thought I'd use it for, too. My thing is cycling and I have an indoor trainer. Much of my issues are because of my small space in my apartment. It's incredibly hard to have my bike in here with my furniture, my daughters work/school/art desk, and her piano keyboard. Oh and my eating table. 🙂. Yyyyeah it's just too much.

I'm a bit bummed by it all, too. Like I said, I really wanted to like Fitness+. It just doesn't work for me (right now, at least; maybe later?). Boo.

Can you clear enough floor space to lay down a yoga mat? That’s all the space I could get even in a big house because of how things are laid out here. I don’t currently do yoga but I use the mat as a cushion for the other exercises I do, which is a very modest version of the workout I did in high school physical training, since I’m recovering from Covid and I’m old and beat up. That mat goes everywhere, I even drag it out on the lawn. I like to be outside, too.
I could. I did make some space for the few little "baby step stretching" exercise or whatever it was for the "total n00b". Maybe I should give those another view.

I just posted a moment ago that I *really* wanted this for indoor cycling, tho, and that didn't work as I had hoped (which totally killed motivation and interest).

I only noticed it now, because I was giving all the other yoga instructors a chance and been working through random episodes. That made me really sad. Dustin was an absolute gem. But I‘ll try out Dice now. I guess „in life you’ve always got to be ready to say goodbye„ is my mantra for today :S.
