How do you apply the $200 to your account? I just tried and nothing. Logged into my account (no balance at the moment) and selected promotional card, entered the number and the pin, but nothing. Card balance still says $200. Do I have to wait to have a balance?

I went today and was able to trade in my Mom's iPhone 4 for a $200 card. They didn't require that we get a new phone or anything (my Mom got a 6 on contract from Apple a few days ago).

this may be a really dumb question and I did check the forum beforehand so bare with me:

I have an iPhone 5. If i take it to the store, can I use the credit directly to purchase an iPhone 6?

Well yes, you could have. But I believe that promotion ended on the 30th.
You might visit a store and see if they are going to continue the promo or see what the new trade-in prices currently are.
Good luck!

Supposedly my store is allowing people who got quotes during the promotional period to come in while the quote is still valid (for 3 weeks) and still get the deal. I'm going to be trying it myself, since our phones didn't come in until later.

I don't want to look stupid when i go into these stores to get the best deal lol

Did you have any luck getting the card added to your account?

Just thought I would post an update about this promotion. It technically ended at the end of September, but I was told that we could still get the $200 trade-in value for our phones (3 iPhone 4 and 1 iPhone 5) as long as I had gotten a quote using their automated system and showed them the screenshot. Turns out that wasn't necessary, but they did check that we had bought new phones for each one being turned in. I was concerned that they might say some of them didn't qualify because we didn't get them direct from AT&T (their shipping times were ridiculous), but they didn't mention it.

It does seem like your milage may vary, as some places seem to be more strict than others about various components of the deal. I walked out with an $800 credit, which was pretty fantastic considering that everything but the iPhone 5 was a pretty low-end model that would have had little resale value.
