Andriod has all kinds of features that are useless... The fact that Andriod has it is not a reason the iPhone needs it.Android has this feature, so there must be some valid use cases.
That's fair use case. Will it even be able to charge the watch though? It's handy for traveling light since you only need to bring one charger to charge everything (phone, watch, airpods) instead of multiple chargers.
Where did they find room for such big battery size increases? Why weren’t these batteries included last year?
Read the post then. This is based off of information that came out today.
They immediately start playing Pong against each other. So what happens when you put 2 iPhone11's back to back?
All those seem like interesting features besides the reverse charging. I would rather they just charge less for the phone instead of adding that. It’s a bullet point for the keynote.
Reverse charging, third camera, faster chip and improved FaceID (gen 2) is probably what we will get, along with a night sight kind of mode for the camera.
I can wait for the redesign.

More likely screen down defaults to charger, screen up receives. Using ambient light sensor and/or accelerometer to determine configuration. Asking doesn’t sound like something Apple would do. Other than the security questions they ask for 2FA and such, that is.Ideally, you'd see a prompt from the face-up phone (via light sensor) asking whether you'd like to charge or be charged.

Well, it doesn't work with most 3rd party chargers. Does it have a different charging method or is this just because Apple wanted to make a hefty profit on their chargers for the watch? Why not?
The S4 battery capacity is less than 10% vs. iPhone XS Max.
That would be slick.Hope it gets possible to charge my Apple Watch on the back of the iPhone, that way, when traveling I only need to bring a lightning charger

Well, they don't have a great record at this point with wireless charging multiple kinds of devices. Cough cough AirpowerDon't see why not. Apple Watch battery is relatively tiny at ~279 mAh.
Companies can even take it one further and build reverse wireless charging into laptops so one charger to charge laptop, phone, watch and airpods. Eliminates all the space taken up by different chargers in my slim sling bag.
To me there is a narrow use for this, saving a cable and brick while simultaneously charging my phone and AirPods at the same time from a wired brick.Andriod has all kinds of features that are useless... The fact that Andriod has it is not a reason the iPhone needs it.
That'd be awesome. set my watch on top of my iPhone while I'm in the shower. No stupid proprietary charging puck.

That's what I am hoping for too. Then all the people who are flocking to Nomad to order their "Apple Watch" edition Qi charger will have a worthless charger. I am thinking of getting the non-Apple Watch version with the hopes they adopt the normal Qi Standard.
