In case you were wondering why you now have the vague desire to watch Back To the Future, that generic advertisement music becomes Huey Lewis' "The Power of Love" 34 seconds in. Compare the music here to the music here.

I had to watch the video twice because I was so distracted by the music the first time!

I'd rather them use some completely unknown piece of production music than use a "sound alike"

That crap drives me crazy.

Here's another gem:

what theme is that in the beginning of the video? there are too many! ;)

the settings are already confusing lol

Okay that video made it look like the most confusing keyboard ever... What's with the colour explosion while typing?

I just pulled it down. It isdefinitely a little confusing. I seem to be getting better a H Q quickly though. The color W W W ex explosion is traffic redwood. A red redo I re re restfuller

If a person needs to achieve 100 words per minute, they're using the wrong device to begin with. Time to break out the MacBook Air.

I type with several fingers at the same time just as I do on the pc... this kind of apps aren't compatible with me :( even so I type faster than the guy on the cm.

I really appreciate the concept of this keyboard, and I'm curious to try it out.

But man, that video? Those gimmicky warp animations? It seriously reminds me of a 90s video games commercial. (In an annoying way, not a good way.)

Awwww... the poor widdle iOS users are getting all excited about gesture typing. :p How cute.

All the Android users are thinking "welcome to 2010".

Watching the video the fingers are moving and animation is happening both at breakneck speed, however viewing the text, I see the words coming out pretty slowly. I can't see this as an alternative to serious physical keyboard typing.

What about privacy

What about privacy with this keyboard? Can you tell where your keystrokes go with this app?
This is the sole reason I have never tried a 3rd party keyboard ever.

The bigger crime is 5 bucks for the app. Without a free trial, it's hard to drop 5 bucks on something I might try and not like. Keyboards are tricky and very personal, if it's good, the app is definitely worth the money. Otherwise it's a huge gamble.
It's kind of the same way you drop money at the bar, tho: you'd buy a glass of anything, pay in the ballpark of five bucks, and not have an idea whether it's going to satisfy the promise made by the label (or barperson) or extremely annoy you.

It does not need full access in order to work therefore no keystrokes go anywhere. See also the overview topic of all 3rd party keyboards and the full access rights they need (or not need).

I always hear people complain about the IOS stock keyboard, but I seriously love it.

I type with two thumbs and rely heavily on auto-correct. The stock IOS keyboard has worked better for me than any third party keyboard on any OS.

Side note: That video gave me a headache....holy animations!

I might give this a go. I used Swype for about the first few weeks of iOS8 and found swiping everything really natural, very quickly. But I hated swapping to the emoji's and the crashses and it not appearing when it should, and all the other problems with 3rd party keyboards so I've just gone back to Apple's default now and live happily typing a bit slower without the bugs.

Will it automatically play that awesome pseudo Huey Lewis 'Power of Love'/Van Halen 'Jump' mix while I'm typing? Because if so... I'm sold! :D

Welcome to June 2014, when that kind of comment was beaten to death.

Seriously, we get it. Apple is late to everything.
