I agree with you. The price of these machines in my opinion $200-$300 over what they should be. Not sure exactly where Apple comes up with these prices. Would love to see an educated breakdown component wise.

Battery life is good! Used it all day yesterday after a full charge and I am only at 45% today. So I can see getting well over an entire day of continuous use after just one charge.

I got a new one, battery life seems pretty good to me as well, but it is very early. Will know more in the next couple of weeks to see how it settles in.

I’d take 36-38% off retail as a good starting point.
