Three days ago, according to refurb.me -
    https://www.refurb.me/en-gb/mac-laptop?category=macbook-pro

You can set alerts to see when they're back in stock.

Thanks, great site. No idea about the avaliability though? Not sure if I wait or order from elsewhere, since I might need it in a week.

Is it normal that all refurbished products across Europe go out of stock overnight? Are they going to increase the price, even though the refurbished Macbook Pro 15 currently cost 1909€? Do they act so quick following the weakening of the dollar? It's a bit frustrating time for me...

There is a new line of very expensive TBMBPs and Apple want you to buy them. They are restricting supplies of the refurbished units accordingly.

Uh, yeah, that's a bunch of bunk. They're sold out because folks are snapping them up left and right due to the new MacBook Pros being crazy expensive and port-challenged, not to mention the crappy keyboard. Keep checking the refurb website; more will pop up, I promise. But definitely have your credit card ready to go.

Still after 18 days or so, not a single 15' rMBP showed up on the refurb store.

I understand that they have most likely stopped the 2015 model production, but how come that older products show up every now and then, and are avaliable in other countries, but not in the UK.

I also contacted Apple Support, and they said they are unavaliable due to high demand during holidays... but that's weird since no one was able to purchase it at all.

Could be that the refurbishing process for 15' was just paused due to holidays?

I don't believe that, since they are avaliable in US, DE & FR 90% of the time.

Well in the UK there haven't been any 2015 refurbished MBPs since the release of the 2016s which goes way beyond any increase in demand for them. Apple will have different strategies for different countries; in the U.K. the pricing of the 2016s is particularly prohibitive and so it makes sense for Apple to coerce sales where possible by limiting older models. In a general sense this also ties in with Apple releasing non-touch bar versions without dedicated graphics etc - it's all geared towards highlighting the benefits of the 2016 models.

Is it possible to buy a refurbished MacBook from another country's refurb store, for example Germany or France?

Yes, it is possible but would be stuck with their keyboard and plug, so that's not something I would like to do.

@WWHG: There have actually been in the store up to 10th of December. Have been checking regularly and they got the money just after they got sold out, heh.
