Are the times / dates in sequence? AfterShip and even UPS has been known to fall for the waiting for Customs scan that is transmitted long before the device leaves China.

It’s not in the US yet. What you’re seeing is a custom hold for incoming iPhones into the US.
Happened to me with Aftership a few years ago. Showed the phone in Louisville way too early. Later it showed an arrival in Anchorage and then to Louisville.
The address was updated before I called UPS, I asked them if that was an issue and they said no that it looked fine on their end, that it would not post into My Choice until it cleared customs. Mine has the same amount of scans as everybody else in wave one.

I’m struggling to figure out my tracking. I’ve been signed up for MyChoice for years now, but it doesn’t show anything. The phone is coming in my dad’s name since he’s the account owner and I only had my and my wife’s names associated with my address in MyChoice. Would his name have to have been associated with my address at the time of shipment for it to show? I added his name on Saturday but still getting nothing.
I did try tracking by reference with the order number and see it arriving Friday by 7pm, so I’m not worried about it coming. Just feel like I’m missing out on the fun!

I just got a completely unexpected call from UPS International Customer Service. One of the people I talked to earlier escalated my request to a supervisor and they called me with my tracking number. It pays to treat with people with kindness and respect even if you’re frustrated. That employee went above and beyond and I’m thrilled I get to track my iPhone.
Cargolux 5482 should be taking off in a few minutes from ZZ. See if we get an update from UPS if we are on this flight. Could this be the "wave 2"???? 🤔
Technically the earlier rep still passed the buck they should have been able to provide you with your full tracking number directly the first time. Maybe they just want the supervisor's approval on this request.

That can happen often with longer delays. It can update at any time may actually show it airborne on the next update.

Did you add other people's names to the My Choice site ?
You can add all the members of the family to the single address.
I did that to make sure me, my business name, alias name, and family member's first names are on UPS site.
Maybe. They all told me they didn’t see my package based on my reference number. Whether or not that’s true, I don’t know.
Although one of them did have me confirm my email address and shipping address, so maybe she did see it and you’re right that she didn’t want to give it out freely without permission.

👉🏻 It is my understanding that the address registered with My Choice and the shipping address for your Apple products should be the same if you want My Choice to automatically pick up the shipping information.
Highly doubt your phone is in Kentucky. Aftership has done that for years…just showing that it’s going to go through customs in Kentucky. What’s your ups tracking say
Nothing against that, but I would avoid this as it may can generate flag. Apple has a well-established partnership with UPS for launch-day deliveries, and the utilization of air shipping methods. Consequently, it's unlikely they can expedite individual shipments beyond the predetermined schedule.
I added his name, but only after a tracking number would have been assigned (I think I added it Saturday night). Wondering if that means it won’t get picked up by MyChoice.
Yeah, the addresses are the same. Just seems maybe it’s screwed up since the receiver’s name wasn’t in MyChoice.
Hello everyone! I’m super late to the preorder but hoped I’d find some others to watch ship dates with me. Ordered mine today (white PM 256) and it says delivery oct 8-15. I couldn’t commit to an upgrade from 14 PM but I was spoiled with an early and late birthday present so I’m excited lol. Thanks everyone for keeping this fun to watch and see what’s going on!!
