Wave 2 here. Got these text message updates overnight from UPS. iPhone still showing it’s sitting in ZZ.

You and me both, lol. I at least have confirmation so far that it will be here September 20 by seven but I’m not seeing all of these details like other people are seeing even when I signed up for my choice.
The three of us! Glad I’m not the only one.

Well the only thing that hasn’t moved is my watch. Shipping label created and that’s it. I assume it will ship out later this week. To be here by Friday, since it’s in Indiana.

Sorry, I'm a first-timer here. just curios, if phones expected on September 20 are on wave 1, wave 2 etc. then
phones with the delivery dates of October 7-14, will be delivered in wave 10-15 or something like that? or won't be that much waves usually to deliver all pre-orders?
as I see most people are getting their phone on 20th sept. but haven't seen discussion of month late deliveries (may be missed those comments)
Checking the tracking number through a UPS account is not an option in my case, so I'm asking here.
My order is still showing "Processing" since 13th of September

😂 being told you are wrong, because you are in fact wrong, doesn’t make anyone a bully dude. See the problem with your misinformation is then other people are going to see the same thing in aftership and think because they have that customs scan that their in Kentucky too when in fact their not. No one is “bullying” you. Everyone is just trying to inform you about what’s really going on. And I have been doing this for 14 years, every single year, since the iPhone 4 released. I was on this site when flight tracking started. And you didn’t just say you had no new scans since Saturday. You claimed your phone was in Kentucky. We simply were just informing you that you are incorrect.
#1 I AM NOT A DUDE so please mind your manners. I never said my phone was in Kentucky. If you read my post I only said UPS still has it in ZZ and AfterShip says otherwise. My intent was in fact to point out the discrepancies. In my experience ups doesn’t always reflect all the scans. That’s all I said but all of you are so intent on proving me wrong m, rather than just seeing that the tracking is inconsistent. At least in my instance. I posted it to see if anyone else had the same thing, but instead various forum members have a mission to just be right and prove me wrong. Again let me say it clearly so you all understand - I posted what aftership showed to see if anyone else had the same thing because my phone is still sitting in ZZ since the 14th, the 15th ZZ time.

Now please go back to your tracking, stop insulting me and responding to whatever I post. That way you can spend time finding your planes and going after others to prove them wrong too.

I don’t have an answer to your question but do know this based on my experience of launch dates. You’ll get your phone on the promised date, and sometimes even before. We can’t get them before the 20th but if you’re a month out Apple does sometimes deliver early AFTER lauch day. I hope that’s the cae for you.

For all those in wave 2…I wouldn’t worry. Wave 1 that is now in Kentucky, 24 hours ago was in zz still. In fact it took ups around 15 hours to send them from zz to Louisville Kentucky, including a 2 hour or so layover in anchorage for refuel and I’d imagine shift change.

On a side note, I find it pretty impressive that ups can ship the amount of phones from half way across the world, and have them to our doorstep, all in 7 days time.

I remember the first year I pre-ordered as an IUP member. We were limited to a couple of colors unlike people who weren’t IUP members. We were all pretty upset. I sent an email to Tim Cook and very quickly got an email from Keegan on his senior team admitting their error and telling me he had reserved a phone for me in my preferred color at my local Apple store. That guy and i practically became friends as he checked often that I was getting what was promised. Every year on pre-order day I would tell Keegan that it went smoothly. He’s moved on to some different department now but that was a great experience and I miss him.

When we refer to waves, we are only talking about the release date phones, not nothing to do with the October deliveries. October and later deliveries can’t start the tracking fun until closer to their estimated time. Usually with release day dates, you get 2-3 waves- basically 2-3 flights that occur at different times to ship the phones to the us.

Just don’t want you to be misinformed, friend, that’s all.

Not able to find my iPhone 16 Plus shipment using any method. I also have UPS My Choice and get notifications for other shipments, but haven't for this one. Not sure what's up... but Apple still claims Friday delivery. Maybe shipping via Fedex? Seems unlikely.
