Haha. No. While I’ll feel better when it’s in Louisville, there’s still plenty of time and there’s no point being a Karen over something outside their control.
Good man. As I stated earlier, wave 1 made it from zz to Kentucky in ~15 hours. There’s no need to worry right now. The exception is likely because the flight was delayed due to the typhoon
Looking at the wave 1 scans, the wave 2 folks, myself included, should hopefully see some movement around 1PM EDT.

How do you know that this is a future CGO flight out ?

This happens every year and it seems to occur more on the regular phones where Apple already moved them to their warehouses in the US where it is the Pro's that tend to be the ones coming from China before launch day.
I wouldn't fret yet.
I never said anything about FedEx. Just stating it has occurred in the past that Apple already has stock in their US warehouses for launch day phone deliveries. No glitch or anything.
I don’t know that far but what I noticed with these US carriers is that they don’t stay in ZZ they go back towards the US
The wave numbers will be irrelevant by October. The Wave 1, 2, and maybe 3 are the most discussed since it's all about a Launch Day delivery right now. The forum definitely continues on as deliveries ship out. But you would save some time and less worry about your phone if you don't really start chasing it until about 1-2 weeks prior to your specific delivery window. I would check Apple Order status once-in-while to see if your Delivery window moves earlier - then start checking UPS accordingly.
I think this is the quickest my device has every gotten to Louisville. Maybe because this is the first year I'm not obsessing over it... The thread doesn't have the same energy as previous years.
Not to worry - if Apple says 9/20 then it will arrive.
Past years I have seen shipments arrive on Thursday night to SDF and still make the overnight flight to customers on Friday.
We still have 2+ days of freighter flights.

opted out of delivery because i want to trade in at the store on the spot vs sending it in and biting my nails waiting for the trade in process to complete. yall enjoy yourselves here.
