I'm curious what the facility in Louisville looks like at UPS. In my head I am thinking massive cages with multiple locks that say, "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 9/20".

This is 10 years old, but it's still a cool glimpse into the technology that exists at Worldport.

I don't know, but a few years ago an Apple rep was able to get UPS to change the address label on my phone from Maryland to Utah while it was in Louisville. I was amazed.

Attention those on wave 2, flight 175 is going to be flown using a Boeing 747-8 registered N632UP. It secretly flew from ZhenZhou (CGO) airport to Seoul (IGN) airport with the transponder turned off upon take off and turned back on during flight. It will fly into Anchorage then to Louisville.

Logistics....this is the first time I can remember than any batches went straight from ZZ to Anchorage. Must have been a function of what flights were available.

Agreed. I recall the flights from ZZ go to either Chek Lap Kok HK or Incheon (South Korea).

The wave 1 flight was not a UPS plane, I'm guessing UPS doesn't fly direct to ANC.

This is the first time i've seen a UPS plane fly to CGO, and fortunately fly back to ICN. Flightradar24 show UPS175 flying out of ICN to ANC in next hour or so.

You decided to keep arguing it that your phone was in Kentucky. And now you’re trying to double back and say that you were trying to figure out if it was. It's fun watching people freak out looking for shipping info. lol. I used to be that way but after so many years, I know what to expect. If it says 9/20, you'll have it 9/20. Sometimes it'll update while it's in China, then show Alaska. Other times, mine updates Friday morning saying it left Louisville and is out for delivery with nothing before that.

Can you post a pic of kalitta 819 landing in Korea because I can’t find that at all. All I find is that flight hasn’t even taken off from china. Just want to see where you’re finding that.

I've gotten to that point as well. The delivery threads are still fun, though.
