You'd be charged an activation fee anyway when the new phone connects to the network. It's what's known as a "rip-off".

Yes and I challenge that rip-off every year, usually successfully. Any Joe can walk in off the street new to Verizon and get a bunch of stuff for free but we loyal customers get charged a $35 activation fee for no real work on their part. And I’m already p’d because when we moved here we had 3 bars all around our home. Now we have 1 bar, I have to drive about 5 miles just to send a text message or make a call, and they raised our rates. Out here in this rural end of the earth there’s no other viable option so I’m stuck with them unless some other carrier appears.

Nope. Because I haven’t been able to look into it at all to have the information to be able to correct them, if I was able to. Otherwise I would have, and like a normal human being they would have thanked me and asked how I figured it out if I was indeed correct about it.

I am thinking (and this might sound stupid) you can only track once it shipped? Tried the way with the order number and that did not work on the site provided. Amazing how it didnt ship but will arrive Friday.

AfterShip shows its SUPPOSEDLY waiting to clear customs as of yesterday.

At this point only time will tell. Based on my past experience I DONT BELIEVE the scans have been updated. This happened last year also. I looked at this thread to see if anyone else had the same tracking results, andI posted that I thought my phone was in KY. Then I get blasted by everyone on here that I am wrong. This is supposed to be an informative forum where we provide each other information. I didn’t realize this forum is about proving a forum member is right or wrong. My bad.

Hopefully once the scans are all updated the complete tracking picture will be provid ed . If I am wrong who cares, so what. In the big scheme of things does it r

Why do you insist on telling me I’m wrong. If I am right or wrong, who cares. Isn’t the whole point of this is to inform everyone the status of our phones so we can have fun together and track our phones. Because you and the other people who insist I’m wrong are just bullies “ because you have been doing this for years”. Has it been 17 years like me, cause I have had every single iPhone since the first was released as I upgrade my phone every year.

I was not a part of the exchange with you, but I went back and read what was wrote. No one is “bully’ing” you. They were trying to help you (or simply others) better understand their perspective on how shipping works. After all, that’s exactly what this thread is about.

If this thread or the anticipation of your awesome new iPhone arriving is getting to you, I encourage to take a break. Get outside and go for a nice walk. Do something different for a few hours. And let’s keep this thread fun and exciting as it is and should be.
