To all my fellow Arizona peeps....pretty sure we'll be on one of these two flights out of SDF today. Watch for a departure scan in the next hour or so, which will mean we're on UPS5852. Otherwise, we'll hope for a scan by around 2:30pm if we're on UPS2876.

There's a third flight that arrives in Phoenix at 3:55am, but I think that would be cutting it close.

Only 2 flights took off from SDF between 2:08 and 2:10 neither anywhere near Baltimore maybe they are putting it on a truck and driving it over?

My shipment says it was out for delivery today and upon meeting the USPS person she said she didn't have any packages for me. Is this an error on USPS website and will probably be here tomorrow (launch day) instead of it saying it'll be here today? Did anyone get theirs early today?

Your phone will not be coming via USPS....it will be UPS, and for some, possibly FedEx. You also will absolutely not receive your phone today regardless of who brings it.

I got the "On the Way Import Scan" and it's in Louisville but I don't have the "Get Ready For Your New iPhone" message in my Settings app. Is that normal?

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone. It is at the bottom of the General screen (scroll down), it should be just above the last entry "Shut Down"

I make a fancy sign for UPS every year on iPhone day and tape it to my door, even though I see him pretty much daily, just in case I ran to pee at the very wrong time!

Flint area here, never seen them fly. I’ve watched flights every year to Michigan and never seen anything that could be it. Pretty sure they’re trucked here. And usually doesn’t leave Louisville until 11pm-12amish

Okay that's what I thought. I know for me it often goes to Toledo area > Detroit > My City.. But I have seen some packages (like Express AC+ Repair) go through Romulus which I assume would mean it went through DTW. Thankfully a lot of companies seem to have distribution in Ohio, so it always arrives here very quickly.

iPhone 16 pro max (desert) ATT was supposed to come 11/11 but I see it is coming tomorrow. I placed my order on pre order day around 1pm CST.

November 11th! Wow that’s quite a push. I imagine it’s extra stock att had. I don’t think those of us that ordered direct from Apple will be so lucky.

I assume they stopped this once they realized it was a security risk, and at the very least, annoying for drivers. I bet people WERE going to the truck.

Same. I don't get it for all packages but some still allow me to track the driver.

Yes since your Apple store manages based on appointment time. You don't get a special unit but the next one that is scanned for your appointment time that meets your ordered specs.

Regarding people tracking down and intercepting the trucks - I never did it but I remember posts from previous years where people did that. Maybe it varies by location. I’ll be interested to see if it shows up tomorrow

The one I've been seeing is at the top of the Settings app, just right below the Apple Account picture.

Placed 2 orders on launch day - 16 Pro and 16. Order confirmation showed 9/20 delivery for both. As of today UPS shows two separate tracking numbers:

16 Pro - currently in Louisville KY
16 - Ontario CA

Both delivering to SF, CA. The information updates on the 16 were much slower than the Pro.
