i don't even think you have to get it activated in store... i think once you officially pay..... you get the receipt and the email. at least that's what i think happened when we picked up a MacBook air and iPad in store a couple months ago..... (it was a couple months ago.... i forget things easily! lol!)

Yep. Usually, I'm (or someone else is) at home but they just leave it at the door and ring the doorbell. Even with MacBook's. No signatures.

But of course, that the ONLY time I was at work on a launch day (and no one was home) the guy (probably a different one) refused to deliver even with me talking to him through the Doorbell begging him to hide the package and leave 😅

Next day (Saturday), I stayed at home the whole day bc I knew they would attempt to deliver again, and a different guy just left the same package at the door and left 🤡 I was , REALLY ??? When I went outside he was gone already lol 🤷‍♀️

OK..... but seriously..... WHO..... that's already at home.... isn't going to be RUNNING to the door every time they hear ANYTHING that even remotely sounds like a UPS truck!?

Heck.... i do that on regular deliveries! i was way worse on iPhone delivery day!

My UPS truck just drove by, I can only hope he comes this early tomorrow or earlier as they usually come past 5pm in my neighborhood consistently. Also just a few more hours until my package leaves the HUB is on a plane to BDL.

Yeah 2 years ago I watched the driver circle all my neighborhood, all the streets around my house, then go to another neighborhood, do all kinds of stuff etc. I was almost getting in my car to go pick it up from the truck lol

got shipment notice for September 20th by 7PM.

Interesting thing is, credit card only got charged for 1 of the 2 phones we ordered. But, got shipment notices for both phones!

i just realized that i'm 24 hours out from pick up time for my phone! (hubby's is 24 and a half hours!! lol! but i'm sure/hoping they'll just give me both at 10:45! then the long drive home so i can set them all up!)

Just so you know, your status may have changed to shipped on the Apple Store, but it until it “departs” Louisville to it’s destination, our phones are just chillin at the moment. But they will definitely be delivered tomorrow
 
My shipment says it was out for delivery today and upon meeting the USPS person she said she didn't have any packages for me. Is this an error on USPS website and will probably be here tomorrow (launch day) instead of it saying it'll be here today? Did anyone get theirs early today?

Sadly.. I’m in a remote area, and I’m literally my drivers last stop before he goes home. Mine will show up at the very end of the window :-(

Finally just got a shipment notification on the regular 16! Looks like it’s coming from Ontario California, so it’s been stateside the whole time. I’m pretty sure this was the case for 15/15 Plus last year as well

I assume they stopped this once they realized it was a security risk, and at the very least, annoying for drivers. I bet people WERE going to the truck.
