Is the Apple Card worth it? I'm debating whether or not to buy the phone on that and utilize the 3% cash back...
Yes, I have had AC for over 5 years and love it.
3% cash back plus 0% for 2 years is perfect for my every other year upgrade.
My next choice is a credit card with 2% back but that's my back up card.

Interesting, I'll consider it. Thanks!

posted this on a thread - but anyone having issues with their IUP? The app is showing I have a balance even though I’ve made the 12 payments to upgrade

I am back for another year of entertainment, watching people obsess over every inch that their phone moves while in transit and those who blow a gasket if it isn't in their hands at 8 a.m. on release day. To see those "traveling together" and others pulling all-nighters and calling out of work to watch the blip on the airplane radar move a millimeter. I haven't been able to order my phone yet... should I be worried?!?!?!?!?! Sorry, I had to be the first person to use the "should I be worried" line this year.

Yes, be extremely worried 😂

Going to go with the Black Pro Max this time. I’ve never (voluntarily) chosen black, but I don’t really care for the other colors.

I do, however, have a question though. I want to keep my 14 Pro Max, but I still have 6 installment payments left with T-Mobile, and I don’t want to lose my credits. This time I’m going to be using Apple Card and pay it off in a few months. If I keep my current 14 Pro Max and activate the new 16 Pro Max on my same number, will it end my remaining credits with T-Mobile? Not interested in activating a new line or anything, since I’ve had the same number for more than 24 years.

Thank you for the benefit of your knowledge!

So starting today I can't get a 15PM with 0% on Apple Card? Dang it!

I’m going to upgrade my phone to the 16PM with the apple upgrade program, but also want to buy an unlocked pro for my girlfriend in japan and bring it to her next month. Will I be able to do that? Never bought two phones at once before.

Upgrade program seems to be working fine for me. Says I’m eligible for an upgrade

In order to buy a phone without a carrier attached / locked - you will have to pay in full (not IUP, no AppleCard).

Have a 15PM 512 in blue. Going to black 512 PM. Have the configuration saved and I’ll lock it in as soon as the IUP program can.

Already did the watch order as soon as the store opened - kinda glad - saved trying to do both Friday morning.

That’s fine - I can do that. I’m just wondering if it will let me do my upgrade for my phone and then pay for that extra one at the same time.

Going with the black 16 pro max 256 GB. Already preselected and saved just have to wait until Friday. Case has already been ordered and should get that this Thursday.

Going to reply to my own question, lol. This is what I was told through T-Mobile chat:

Does anyone know if we will be able to do the T-Mobile workaround like in the past? I'm on Visible so I can't use any provider that requires signing in.

edit: It appears that now for all the phones, you sign in/activate upon receiving the phone, not before, so I guess the bigger question is does it matter which one I get?
