Get Ready is only available if you don't take the carrier credit. I tried with T-Mobile which I get $1000 credit over Apple but it says that I would be notified over email when T-Mobile is "ready" to Get Ready for pre orders.

Same, I’m on a prepaid carrier and not sure what to pick for iUP

Just spoke with Apple Sales support, who directed me to Citizens Bank Support - they said unless you're a T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or Boost customer, you are not eligible to participate in the iUp program or even finance with Apple. You have to sign into your account for it to validate on pre-order. Super disappointing.

Edit: Set up my pre-order as a T-Mobile customer anyway, per this thread on Reddit it seems there is a workaround, since the phone is unlocked and there's no carrier commitment.

This happened last year I think too, and the year prior. I waited until the evening eastern time and then the get ready thing worked for me thru T-Mobile

Hey folks, How does the trade in system work with Apple.com when you buy the phone online. Do they send you a shipping label and or a box, do you have to pay and provide your own label and or box, or can you bring the phone to an Apple store?

You will receive a return box that is labeled.

If you are financing you will have to get the Next Up or the full price of phone will be due before you upgrade if the phone is not
paid off
