Would it be easier if I went to the store and changed it in person? I did check my in store inventory and realized they do have the one I want available for today also but wasn’t sure If it would delay the entire process.

I’m doing my conf calls on the front porch until it arrives lol.
YAY, placed my order this morning for pick up at like 8:06 for a 12-12:15 check in window, and its now ready for pickup.
We just cancelled our pre-orders (phones were going to get here between 10/2 & 10/14) & placed new orders for pick up tonight at 6:45! Wooohooo so excited!!!!
I felt like we got to hear from a lot of other users this year. I’m not active as much but I wanted to create a space for us iPhone nerds to share our thrills throughout the process
I actually cancelled my pre-order last night, and then woke up this morning and started checking the app and website till I saw pick up availability. You may want to check your store stock as of now my model was starting to dry up.
I am in Centreville and all 4 of mine are in Chantilly as well.
Mine didn’t either until this morning when it started getting ready for delivery
Technically they don’t. It’s dependent on the UPS CC folks and how they are willing to assist. I got lucky !
If nobody preordered, than nobody would be able to pick it up today, cause stores would be jammed with people.

Just got an email from UPS that my delivery has been moved to Monday. ðŸ˜
I feel your pain. This is why I physically go into a UPS CC ( like a loser) LOL and make sad faces to get my phone. Jk jk
Tons of walk in slots today at Apple Domain if you're in Austin and aren't taking delivery this weekend.
It’s only 6:45 but usually it’s at my local UPS depot by now.
If you have an Apple Store local just go get one today and return that one (if you really need it today)
They do some crazy stuff driving around. My old neighborhood the ups truck would come in and do everything on one side of the street, then come back up the other side and do them. I guess it makes more sense
I have the same thing for one of my two phones. I’m hoping it’s just a missed scan and it will update when it’s in the truck for delivery, but it does make me nervous.
