My UPS man delivered my AirPods and said he forgot my other package on the truck and would come back but now I see him driving around on the map. Delivery still says by 7 PM so i have my fingers crossed.

Do what I did….chase him down and politely ask if you can have your package really quick

UPS estimated my deliveries between 11am-1.45pm today now that’s gone and it shows delivery by 7pm

What i was trying to say is that those "customs" messages were from when the phones were first received in China.

I got those messages just now showing the correct dates of when the phone was still in China, they did not show up before delivery. The other person's photo of those messages, with today's date, showed today's day and not when those events occurred.

Closest one to me is 2+ hours away sadly. I am currently in the chat queue awaiting a specialist to start the return process. Very sad but this is way too large of a scuff/scratch to ignore it unfortunately.

I feel very bad for you. I had something similar on my 13 PM twice out the box. Once I unboxed it in front of the Genius rep at the Apple Store and returned it there and then.

Our phones and watches were just delivered. Gave my UPS driver a bottle of Powerade and sent him off to everyone else who's still patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for him!!

My watch was delivered. The app still says the phone is on the way and shows the truck. The watch tracking never showed a time or the truck location. S, I'm hoping it's a separate truck (but two UPS trucks in same area?)

I even asked him "Only one package?" and he said yes

I guess I’ll have to update the old phone to 18 in order to do the migration. Not looking forward to this since I’ve seen quite a few people have issues.

I'm shocked at the allocations this year. I pre-ordered my 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max through apple for use on T-mobile within the first 8 minutes of the Pre-Order starting and received an October 2-7th Shipping estimate. I was thinking Apple was under promising and would over deliver... I mean in the first 8 minutes it's going to take two weeks?

Meanwhile Monday of this week I ordered a 512 GB iPhone Pro Max for a family member but this time directly through T-Mobile and they received their phone today.

Meanwhile my order through Apple is still processing with the same October 2nd through 7th time frame and nothing has been charged yet.

Yup, I had delivery ETA 9:10-11:10 (it's 11:15 now) with the truck on the map just a couple blocks away and suddenly it can't show me the map anymore and the ETA has changed to "Before 8pm". Sigh.

UPDATE- Oh man what a tease. My doorbell just rang and I buzzed the gate and went out to the courtyard and saw a FedEx guy coming with a small box. He looked at me like "what?" and I said "I'm apt 10, I'm Jigzaw (name changed, lol)" and the guy said "Oh, this is for Apartment 6, sorry".... He just rang doorbells till someone buzzed him in.

I said "Well, I am waiting on a FedEx delivery today, an iPhone" and he said the are handled by "Express". I told him about my ETA changing and the map disappearing and he said that I'll definitely get it today because the drivers get dinged if they don't deliver on the day it's supposed to...

What on earth is this day? It's a good thing I wasn't working today and trying to schedule leaving home around this delivery... blah

No need to upgrade your existing iPhone as long as it has iOS 11 or higher.

Same here; I’m in Portland, OR. I have zero idea what it means…never seen it before when tracking my deliveries. I’ve resigned myself to a day’s or longer delay at this point. I rarely have good luck with private shippers (UPS, FedEx, Amazon).

My window has updated to this afternoon before 3:15pm! I must have gotten lucky. Is yours still showing a delay?
