Estimated between 2-6. Got home at 2. They had attempted delivery at 1:40. Gah!!!

I ordered through Verizon. Anyone tried having the shipper change to a UPS store or something? UPS says the sender has to do it. I'm worried about confusing things more, but otherwise they are trying again on Monday!

One of the package wants backwards to custom Clearance in progress. Hopefully, I will get all 4 of them today.

Same here. My package went back as if customs needed to clear it, and I lost tracking capabilities on the truck and the app

I got a live tracking map, and the truck has been stuck on the same road, literally 100 yards from my house, for the past 20 minutes lol. I’m actually thankful because no one had been home for the last 20 minutes and someone just returned, so I’m good

UPS driver must be taking his lunch.

It’s been in the same spot for an hour now… should I walk up? lol jk

Edit: And right when I hit submit on this comment, the driver turned around the corner lol. Definitely a lunch break.

I've been stalking my package on the UPS site since it left China, and today it seems to have stalled out after arriving in West Columbia, SC. I have contacted UPS a couple of times, and the last representative I spoke with said it didn't make it on the truck and wouldn't be delivered today. Wouldn't be a huge deal, except I leave tomorrow for two weeks. They said I'd need to contact the shipper (Apple) to do a redirect. So I called Apple, and they submitted a redirect request but said that it takes 48 hours and it still might be delivered today. Fingers crossed they don't lose it in the redirect process. So frustrating.

Same here; I’m in Portland, OR. I have zero idea what it means…never seen it before when tracking my deliveries. I’ve resigned myself to a day’s or longer delay at this point. I rarely have good luck with private shippers (UPS, FedEx, Amazon).

It typically means a truck broke down.

What a fantastic pickup 😬. I had my iPhone IPSU and MagSafe cord on separate orders, my MagSafe was the first QR code the rep scanned and they let me inside the store, bypassing the iPhone pickup line.

When they delivered my iPhone and MagSafe cable, they gave me a free 20w charger for no reason. I thought they brought it out by accident but the service rep placed it inside the bag 😬😬


I get my Apple Watch 10 Monday but what a monumental jump the 44mm to the 46mm is!!

Picked up at the Torrance, CA, Grand opening today! Was an awesome opening along with getting my 16PM. Even got to meet Justine! Brian Tong was there, too, but a bit busier or hard to get in with. Happy iPhone day!

There was one from very early this morning. I commented that it looked like a random Customs check. But yours is different. Your weird scan is after the Out For Delivery scan. They could just be showing wrong in the system and it is on the truck.

That is the language they use before it leaves China. I just went back to UPS app and see all those "awaiting final release" and "released" stamps from the 15th, when my wave 2 phone was first noted by UPS. Those messages only showed up now, but are stamped as the 15th. This thread is shorter partly because with them missing there were few questions about what they meant and why is the Chinese government preventing my phone from moving. lol

I can still track it, now it shows package cleared in 30 minutes but now it won't say it will be delivered today. If I turn the brokerage events off it still shows out for delivery.

My UPS driver has been jerking his meat all around my neighborhood all day literately on the cross streets to the left and right of me in an all residential area. Got a notification saying "almost here" yet all that changed was 2-5pm delivery to now by 7pm...and on the live map he's back at the hub. Never once on the actual tracking map has it changed from on the road. UPS is so bad in my area when will apple roll out their own fleet lol./end of rant.

My original delivery time was 2:30PM to 7PM. It arrived at 12:38PM. Restored an encrypted backup through iTunes and up and running after everything finished updating and downloading.

The only thing I see that it did not bring over was download shows/movies on Netflix. Everything else seems to be good.

Had to sign in on a few sites but that is to be expected even with an encrypted backup restore.

Not a huge change from my 15 PM but something about a new phone gets e every time.

Yeah, I've been checking and most likely my driver will return to the hub for a couple hours and then go back out. I awaiting another package I have to sign for today (FedEx) anyways but still lol

Whelp, Verizon voice assistant thing said "he" can't change a delivery address, but was willing to cancel the order for me. Looks like I'm waiting until Monday. I'll just pretend launch day is the 23rd and stop watching everyone here get their new phones!

I watch this doofus of a UPS man drive circles around my street over and over, back and forth, and never get to me. It drives me nuts!!

UPS needs to invest in AI to better plan their delivery routes. This morning my driver was in the southern part of my town. He was slowly making his way north. I come and check again and he’s back in that same southern part.

And it’s 100% residential down there so it’s not like he was taking care of businesses, which I understand need earlier pickups/deliveries.

Uh oh - same here. My phone says the same status and hasn't changed since early this morning.
OTOH my wife's TMO order is on the truck and being delivered this afternoon....
