I was surprised by that as it’s not the first entry into the US. Guess they don’t have the facilities in AK

Anchorage is a refueling stop on the way to Louisville. Rarely, some Apple cargo is offloaded and sent to West Coast warehouses for local delivery. But, nearly all Apple iPhone cargo will head to Louisville for customs and distribution to local centers.

Longtime lurker (many many years) and registered to jump in on the yearly thread tradition...
Order placed Friday morning at 8:02 am for home delivery to Atlanta Sep 20th, email confirmation within just a few minutes of that, cc charged within an hour for both. Saturday evening UPS My Choice showed two scans for Sep 15th between 3:00 and 3:15pm ZhengZhou (wave 2 I guess).

I just checked again, and the reference numbers for my shipment DO NOT include a phone number... but it does list both the FULL order number from Apple as well the number without the last 2 digits. Maybe that will make a difference for some of y'all.

Just searched mine with the entire order number and it showed up but only on their website by reference number , not the app. ! I was originally searching with the order number minus the last 2 digit but it couldn’t locate anything.

Apple doesn't use FedEx for iPhones, only UPS. Now, if you order it through a carrier, such as AT&T, then yes, they ship their iPhones through FedEx.

Apple Card was finally charged for full amount on iPhone 16 PM 256 BT 30 minutes ago after order placed at 8:05 ET Friday. Order switched from processing to preparing to ship just now. No tracking information in UPS MyChoice yet.

keeping my fingers crossed that it will be the same as the t-mobile bypass last year and you can get by the activation screen just as easy

I took unlocked to mean unlocked.

I got my pre-order in Friday morning with ACMI, selected Verizon (for no reason other than my carrier uses Verizon’s network) and the order went through without asking for anything extra.

No Verizon account confirmation was required or anything.

I’m hoping I can do the phone setup through iCloud backup as normal.
