Woke up and searched by full order number. Looks like I’m in wave 2 with many of you. Since I can’t use my choice to see the details (all I get to see is that it’s “on the way”), I’m going to need all you wave 2-ers to keep me posted on where our phones are at. 🤣
I do at least feel better knowing that my phone is shipping several days ahead of launch day.

Woke up this morning with a tracking number! PM 256 NT. See you all in a couple days when they start heading out of china!
All those flights have already been completed. More than likely it’ll be an actual UPS flight. I just looked myself, nothing showing up right now. I’ve noticed usually the flights magically appear not too long before their scheduled time. Zhengzhou is 12 hours ahead of us (eastern time at least), so it’s 830pm there right now. Probably won’t see anything until around 8pm our time tonight, 8am Monday their time. If memory serves me right it’s usually between 9-11pm est on sundays that my phone has left for Alaska in the past. I’ve always been part of the first wave.
My phone last year and year before went zhengzou>alaska>kentucky
Edit: looking back you may be right lol, I could of swore it was a straight through flight though
If it’s like years past, Apple won’t send an email until it clears customs in Louisville a day or two ahead of time.
Overnight it got updated 😊

For those of you on the iPhone Upgrade Program, do you recall when the trade in box usually comes and what that process looks like? I leave the country for two weeks the day after I am supposed to get my 16PM and I know we only have like two weeks to ship it back. Wondering if I’m going to have to pay a coworker to handle that for me.

I know that much. I’m just trying to remember if we typically get them ahead of the new phone arriving/how far out or after. Like does Apple send it when it ships from China or do they consider it shipped when it clears customs and starts heading our way from Louisville… that’s the difference.

I’m thinking Alaska tomorrow and Louisville Wednesday. The last two years the phone arrived in CO Thursday afternoon for delivery Friday morning for me.
