I do think that if at all possible, Apple has to think about moving to a twice a year roll out of phones. that would smooth out the demand curve a bit IMO.

Apple -- Consider that Americans are locked into carrier contracts of 24+ months. If they all bought the 5S when it released, it isn't financially feasible to purchase an iPhone 6. Those still on the 4/4S, and early 5 adopters need to be the target for the 6. Don't let "waning" 5S sales delay the release of the 6 - it'd be moronic and keep us who've been holding out from getting the phone that we need NOW.

The stock didn't go up until the announcement of the buybacks and the stock split.

No, the market hasn't already priced this in, not fully, not nearly. It will come into effect after Apple destroys expectations. I am far from the only person who believes this-- including people in charge of billions. If they had, they'd have sold it by now. Why hold onto a stock which has already reached its zenith ahead of the actual product launch? If things don't go as planned it could tank.

And if you honestly think that people in charge of billions of dollars are all that much brighter than average (they aren't), you're deluding yourself.

It's not at its "zenith" and it's not going to "tank". It's just not going to "explode" when the iPhone 6 is announced, everyone knows it's coming.

Why don't you read the original post I was responding to, instead of spending your time typing a multi-paragraph response that is completely off topic.
