Hear ye, hear ye, one and all. Loosegate is a fabrication! Off with his head!

Pics or it didn't happen.

Yes this has been mentioned in another thread. I have a 42mm SS and I have just the slightest bit of play! Someone compared it to the iPhone 5 and 5s power button but it is no where near that bad. I don't even hear anything until I try pushing it around. It is completely normal based on what we know right now. Enjoy your watches! :)

Does your side button wiggle a bit?

Does your side button wiggle a bit? Mine does. Not the digital crown, but the button below it.

No wiggling on my 42mm Aluminum Sport.

Ah, solid as a rock? looks like I'll be going to the apple store tomorrow. When I place a finger on the side button and shift my finger or wiggle it a bit the button seems to jiggle a little. Feels cheap. Then again, my buttons on my iphone 6 plus do the same thing, just not as prominent. (maybe because it's a much smaller button)

SS 42mm here, my side button is wiggling too. It's a little bit annoying because the crown has a nice, stiff pressure point but the side button wiggles and is actually noisy.
The model I previewed at the Apple Store after preordering did the same and I guess it is normal or at least within specifications. Annoying nonetheless.

Anybody with the same issue went to the Apple Store yet or phoned in to see what they say?

It's a button, it will have some wiggle. The only problem would be if it was loose and you could hear it rattling.

What? lol

Oh this is so depressing. I really hope I'm just being super sensitive to the button's give. If my button is indeed defective, I'll be waiting weeks for a replacement.

Solid as a rock here too, definitely defected.

I did on Friday when I got my Watch and same thing was happening on mine. Spoke to Apple Friday evening and they have arranged a replacement. My original watch was collected yesterday so I'm hoping to get a replacement by the end of the week or early next.

Yeah there's no rattling. It wouldn't surprise me if that's the design, it's just super annoying. I can totally feel it. But my iPhone 6 plus does the same thing on all buttons, not as pronounced - I'm guessing because the buttons are smaller than the button on the apple watch. Anyways, I'm headed to apple today to compare with their models.

Woah, yours sounded like it was in worse shape than mine! There's no noise on mine.

I did phone in, they were considering a replacement. But I offered to go to the Apple Store first to compare with other watches. I don't want to wait on watch when there's "technically" nothing wrong with my watch.
