Well... following @craigy2302's investigation, I found the plane that DHL-delivered 29th Oct - 2nd Nov. estimated MacBook Pros were allegedly on - flight no. BOX583. I searched for all flights that left Hong Kong and were due to arrive in Leipzig today, and there was only one that fit the bill. This is an AeroLogic flight - which I learned is a joint-venture between DHL and Lufthansa Cargo, so it seemed even more likely to be the correct flight.
It arrived in Leipzig from Hong Kong at 12:44. It then left Leipzig less than two hours later, and arrived in East Midlands Airport at about 14:45 UK time. That flight was a DHL-specific flight, so again, it seems pretty likely to be the correct one. East Midlands is actually DHL's main base in the UK, so... again, it lines up.

Unfortunately, nothing has yet been updated on DHL's tracking yet, so while I'm reasonably sure all the above info is correct - it's entirely based on the DHL agent receiving the correct information about the UK-bound DHL Macs being part of some mega-pallet/waybill that was flying from Hong Kong to Leipzig as of this morning, and therefore bypassing most scanning opportunities.

However, if it is correct... I think it suggests we might be in luck with getting our Macs tomorrow! (I'm really hoping it does)
That is some TREMENDOUS work! Nice one!

Fingers crossed for a tracking update tonight or tomorrow with imminent delivery!

The only flight leaving Cologne for Stanstead is at 06:50 tomorrow, and it’s a RyanAir.

I think these will be going through East Midlands. Between now and that Ryanair flight to Stanstead, there are the following flights to EMA, all cargo flights with ‘StarAir’:

19:40 - DJ7800
02:40 - DJ6978
03:15 - DJ6566

StarAir is a Danish cargo carrier, flying 767s, and have “several of these on lease to UPS, operating out of Cologne & East Midlands

It looks like our new swag should be on one of those flights! At least now there are multiple planes involved, in case one of them gets sat down on the tarmac.

I’m still hopeful we see these arrive tomorrow - especially given they’ve already been delayed. 🤞🏼

@alexqndr so I think the one I want is flight 5x232 but looking at the chart it doesn't look like there a flight going there tonight...

For the London area keep an eye on this flight table:

5X4 historically lands in London (STN) at around ~2.30am UTC from cologne and departs at ~1.30am UTC - every day

For EMA Nottingham area keep an eye on this flight table:

5X232 historically lands at East Midlands Airport at around ~1.30am UTC from cologne and departs at ~0.15am UTC - every day

Sorting at the Koeln facility starts at 11pm Koeln Time and has to be finished by 2.30am Koeln time. So updates on scans should arrive around that time

Good luck everybody. :D

These charts are incomplete; sometimes a flight may not show up until it actually departs. Flightradar24 is pulling data from a number of systems—it doesn't have an authoritative schedule from UPS. Different flights will show up on those systems at different times, not always in order (and often only when the flight actually departs).

My guess is that you can see the EMA–PHL leg because it will show up in some US system, but the CGN–EMA leg (which seems always to precede the EMA–PHL leg) isn't yet visible to Flightradar24.

Yes. As I said in my post, historically there's a 5X4 to London and a 5X232 to East Midlands Area every night, at around the same time.

Times are reported in my post.

So that table will soon show the flight.

If you need something else to refresh obsessively, here's the FlightAware table for inbounds flights from Cologne to London:
